Terrible hotel. When I arrived the pictures were nothing like the hotel. The rooms were dirty when I arrived. There was no water in the rooms. The plumbing was messed up. No soap in the bathrooms. Toilet paper was low. Bugs crawling around everywhere. No air conditioning. The way to lock my door was a giant padlock which was impossible to open. The restaurant was closed by the time I got there and nothing to eat anywhere around there. You have to take a 4x4 to get to the hotel because it’s all fort roads. Decent apartments for the price, friendly staff, and accommodating restaurant--BUT:

Location: The back of the apartments adjoins to a mosque with a school. There is constant noise from that. The prayer call is EXTREMELY LOUD. This was VERY disappointing, after a 10+ hour car ride with our young children, to have the prayer call awake them early in the morning, when they needed some extra rest after our journey the day before.
