NL Josephines Apartments for rent in Seguku, Kampala — Hotel in Wakiso

My review has been deleted so many times, my family and are were threaten if we said anything negative about this apartment.

My experience at NL Josephines Apartments was profoundly disappointing. Right from the moment my sisters and I arrived, it was clear that the place was badly managed and neglected.

Upon our arrival, there was no one to check us in, and the whole property felt deserted. We had to wait for quite some time while the apartment was hurriedly cleaned before we could finally check-in. It was frustrating because we had already paid for the service, and the cleaner they claimed to provide was hardly noticeable. When we asked for the services we had paid for, the landlord, Miss Josephine, made us feel guilty for simply asking for what we were entitled to.

To make things worse, Miss Josephine, who presented herself as the owner, showed a complete lack of concern for the issues we faced. One day, the electricity was suddenly cut off, and she entered our room without any notice, demanding additional payment to have it restored. The problem was, we had already agreed on a fixed rate, which included electricity, WiFi, laundry, and internet, before booking. But during our stay, she contradicted herself by telling us not to use the laundry facilities and then randomly demanding a hefty sum to get the electricity back on.

The apartment's beds were extremely uncomfortable, exceeding any reasonable expectation. The mattresses were so hard that they left us physically fatigued and emotionally drained throughout our entire stay.

In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone considering NL Josephines Apartments to avoid it at all costs. They treated us, as foreigners, with abhorrence, showing complete disregard for our comfort and basic needs. The staff's behavior was rude and unaccommodating, leaving a lasting negative impression. It's simply not worth the time, money, or peace of mind to stay there. If I had the option to give them negative stars, I certainly would.

I also feel compelled to share that Miss Josephine took it to the extreme when she found the review I had written. She threatened our lives and held my sisters and me hostage, not allowing us to leave the apartment until we took down the Google review. We felt terribly unsafe, scared, and disrespected during that ordeal. I want to clarify that Miss Josephine is not the landlord; her daughter is the actual owner, and she was better to communicate with...

I have loved living in Apartments and I’m going to miss the place and the friends i had made. You guys run a great service and I had a wonderful time when there. Your timely and friendly response to all concerns was a pleasure to have and I honestly couldn't have had a better living experience....
