I spent 3 weeks at this hotel and it was really nice. I enjoyed the service and how friendly and respectful the staff was. The security was good too. I also miss the breakfast (African tea & katogo) One thing i didn’t like was the boss (owner) of this place how he treats his employees. I could see how he shouts at the boys working there and treating them with no respect, this made me feel sad for them. I wouldn’t want to spend my money to someone who treats his staff with no respect even in front of customers, it’s high time Ugandan bosses learn to treat their staff. I hope he reads this!!

Beautiful ambience and very peaceful for a getaway. There were many couples around which simply means it is a private place. They are probably understaffed so food comes late and the staff don't take this seriously. Don't expect hot water bathes because of their solar water heater which can't sustain the demand. It's by chance that you will get warm water in your shower. Other than that, it is a great place for the quiet but the food, nope. They need to do better in their kitchen.

It's located on Kampala Gulu high way in Matuga. The structures are good, and the outside beauty is good. The reception had a warm welcome. She took me to the room that had been booked for me, u must be fit to climb stairs. The rooms are small, there is only a small table that can hold only a mobile phone, no chair or anything, u must sleep with your bags and dirty clothes on the bed. The beddings are old, for ethical behaviors, I can't share them but need to be changed.

We took a large group for dinner by the pool as a thank you gift. The food took a while to come out, but that's normal for all the restaurants I've been to in Uganda. The fish was great and chicken was good but small. All the meals didn't come out together and the matoke was inedible (tasted like they cooked it with the peels instead of the leaves) but the waitstaff was great and the DJ was good. We didn't go into pool but it looked inviting. They have a bar and hotel and I saw a bunch of mazungos (the most I've ever seen in Matugga) so based on what I saw on the outside, I would recommend the hotel. Overall, a...

Unfriendly, very poor and unprofessional stuff! The lady at the reception doesn’t know what breakfast means, They made us wait for hours during our checking in time and after all that stress we ended up in a very uncomfortable room, it had no warm water, poor wifi connection yet we had paid a lot of money! And for the restaurant menu they have a list of meals but it’s not what their offering when you press your order! At night they play non stop loud music and make it so uncomfortable! The beds are so itchy that you can’t sleep well the entire night you’re scratching your body and have no...
