Gold Georg Palace — Hotel in Chernivtsi Urban Hromada

Rooms are clean, nice, bed comfortable. Location is easy to access if you follow the main road from Romania boarder, you just have to turn left after you leave on the right DEPOt mall. The hotel is on the left not far away after you turned left, across the street is a vegetable market. You have parking. Breakfast is available and I highly recommend you to choose because is delicious and more than decent priced (100 ucranian money per person per day, that means around 3 Eur). Coffee is incredibly good. Keep in mind that early hours at breakfast- 7-8.30, because starting 9 o'clock in the restaurant they serve meals. Exception seems to be Sunday.|Be prepared to have minimal conversation at the reception in English. This is a point that the hotel needs to improve. |If you just want to walk to the center is around 25 or 30 minutes walk. By car, obviously, you reach it faster.|If you visit Cernivtski you should try Gopachok restaurant ( rated nr 1 on TripAdvisor). And also you have a nice one near the hotel - follow the road ( of the hotel- turn left as you exit it) till the end and on the left you will find a nice restaurant with tasty dishes- ask for the name of the reception of the hotel - Kampana.|I highly recommend...

We only stayed 1 night here while travelling to Kiev and were sad to leave in such a hurry. The hotel seems like it had some very smart and chique remodelling done to it, it looked like the furniture had been reconditioned, but with very good taste. The beautiful girl at the reception (not beautiful, absolutely stunning actually) was very helpful and spoke good English, so was able to give us directions. We had 2 rooms - 201 and 202 - matrimonial beds, mini bar, dresser, everything minimalistic and tasteful. The bathroom was impecable and everything needed - like towels, slippers and toilette items - were at hand. Great hotel for a longer stay, although I would not think the city could ever be of any touristic interest. But if you are travelling for whatever reason to Chernivtsi, this is the place to stay !! Very comfortable, clean hotel with elegant design and furniture. The staff is welcoming, the room I've been was modern, almost like new. Nothing bothered my 6 days of stay there. The hotel as well the parking area is guarded 24/7, no reason to worry about your car. There is a safe in the room and a large size of flat screen tv with countless chanels. I loved the huge panoramic windows. My only negative experience was in the pizzeria-which is a part of the hotel complex, I have detailed it on their site, never the less, the management should seriously look into this part of their business.
