This hotel is a nightmare to find.. it took us 45 minutes to find this place in the dark. The building itself is easy to locate as it is next door to Kiev Zoo. However, when you arrive you realise that there are 100s of front doors, with no signs or info. When you check in, you realise why. This is not a hotel, this is an apartment that has been split into 5 rooms, with shared bathroom and kitchen. You sign a temporary tenancy agreement, known in the UK as 'on licence'. You pay upfront when you arrive and you need to leave an additional 300uah deposit in cash - no credit or debit cards accepted here.||I've seen previous reviews saying the staff here were rude - I honestly think this is down to the language barrier, and not the staff being rude. No english is spoken here at all, which made conversations with the staff very interesting. The staff did all they could to make our stay a pleasant one.||||The room itself - perfect! We had a large double room in the basement, which I think is the best room out of the 5 on offer. Good WIFI is available here as well.||The hot tub in the bathroom was off limits as was the steam room, but everything else was available to use. ||||There are takeaways very near - within 3 minute walk. A 10 minute walk gets you to a large shopping centre, which has a very good supermarket inside. Uber, Uber Eats and Deliveroo are all available here. Uber taxis were very very cheap, use Uber instead of the Kiev taxis and you'll save a lot of money.||Taxi drivers do not know anything about this guest house, they don't know where it is so its obviously not a very well known landmark. To get back to the guest house we just told the drivers to go to Kiev Zoo and we walked the 2 minutes back to the guest house. For Uber pickups, we used the restaurant next door as a...

Read moreExtremely inconsiderate organization. I paid everything right in the first stay. Than I wanted to extend my stay but she said I had to pay 100 grovna more for some reason. I was actually going to do it but airbnb had a problem with payment (not my bank airbnb couldn't make the transaction) so instead of being nice about it n let me pay later, she kicked me out in the street. It's not like I am going to stay and not pay. I would have wanted little more consideration and...
