Kavalier Boutique Hotel & Restaurant — Hotel in Lviv Urban Hromada

Kavalier is located slightly more away from city center, then owners advertise. This inconvenience is balanced by hotel's leisure area comprising pool, tenis court, kid's playgrout, outdoor bar and boutique garden. Not to mentioned cheap taxis to get you to center of Lviv. I made an informed decision when I booked this hotel for 8 members of my family. Rooms are worth 4 stars that hotel is so proud of. There is bit of wear & tear visible already: warderobe doors are not sliding smoothly and there are visible scratches on knobs to bathroom. Rooms 304 and 305 are located on street side, room 310 is on pool side. Breakfast is decent in terms of choice and caters for all tastes. Quality of food is of 2 star hotel. Leisure area is open for members of general public and events hosted there as well. Noise is not a problem if you are staying in street facing rooms, and not a problem in room 310 providing windows are closed. Hovewer pool is not accessible for hotel guests during events what makes your stay in Kavalier pointless and frustrating. Hotel's staff on all levels ignores to recognize this situation as problem and prioritizes event's host money over hotel's...

My review concerns our recent family get together in the Kavalier Club at the Restaurant Culinarium this month. As much as we enjoyed the area of the boutique hotel, the panoramic view, a lawn and the area next to the pool, a few walking trails and the mini Zoo, we have mostly experienced the Restaurant's food and service, as well as the organization of the family event. In terms of latter, we wish the Kavalier Club a better success. The preordered menu for 20 people was diverse, but cold throughout the meal, including the barbecue dishes served as a main carne of the evening. The wait staff somewhat reserved and lacked speed, and/or extra hands, the cake being served 30 minutes after the coffee/tea. The concern is that we had dealt with a number of managers to organize the event, but the execution went somewhat poor. This could be easily corrected with a better communication between us and the service personnel. We would recommend this spot on the Lviv map to check out as a hotel stay with all its celebrated amenities, but you might consider other food...

The hotel and rooms are clean. The some staff is gul-faced. The breakfast is very small. This may make you unhappy. The rooms are beautiful. But there is a problem. Sometimes the room smelled of food. Why? They have to solve this problem. The air conditioning system in the room is good. Cold room possible.|The hotel is good quality. The garden is very nice. But The hotel is not in the city center. Guests always need a car.|I am staying at the hotel. But 1 Day there is a party at the hotel. And we can not go pool and garden. You pay attention to that. It could be a bad surprise for you. It's a wrong move. Because I pay for the service.|The other problem: 2 people ate dinner one evening. The restaurant is expensive.
