Optima Collection Житомир — Hotel in Zhytomyr Urban Hromada

Had a disappointing stay last weekend, June 5,6. The location is very central and it seemed like the best option in Zhytomyr. The hotel is right next to a large park which happens to be a very popular hangout for the local youth. Loud music, screams and laughing continued well into the night, I managed to get to sleep at about 3 AM. Another issue is the hotels policy regarding air conditioning, the hotel has a central system which is not turned on until they experience temperatures over 25 degrees for a certain amount of days. Although the remote in the room works as it should creating a false sense of AC, no conditioned air actually comes out of the vent. I tried opening the balcony door but the noise outside was so loud that it was quickly eliminated as an option. In the morning I spoke to front desk and was notified of the AC policy, they apologized that I happened to be there during the switchover period. ||Since this is a pretty large chain I was hoping for some sort of a compensation. After numerous calls I was offered a 15% discount on my next stay. Seems like a joke considering the quality of rest during my stay.||Personally I think I should have been notified during check in that hotel has no AC since it was 26 celsius outside. ||I have 4 more weekend stays in Zhytomyr but I will be taking my...

The Reikartz hotel in Zhytomyr is a very good hotel always clean and the staff are always welcoming speaking in Ukrainian Russian and English. This time we stayed for New Year estate in the deluxe apartment room in this room you get a bedroom what is on its own floor with a flatscreen TV and in a double bed and then you get a living room with a 62 inch TV and a mirror and the make-up counter and to sofas and coffee table with a mini bar the minibar has good prices, for example, a Mars bar or a Twix is about 70p at British sterling which is not a bad price for five-star hotel and I would class as hotel as a luxury hotel breakfast is included no matter what room you looking breakfast normally runs from 7 AM to 1 PM which gives you plenty of time to get up and get out in the morning. Across the road is the Natural History Museum of Zhytmoir and next to the hotel is a park with a rock what was there when Zhytomyr was founded around 884 A.D. the hotel also offers room service and they charge about 2 pounds for the service. If you are travelling to this city I highly advise staying at this hotel as the staff will look after you and welcome you and try their best to help you with anything that you need the hotel is in a very safe location and not far from restaurants all...

25.11.18-still the best choice in Zhitomyr,but decreasing quality,not possible to drive to parking without appearing at first reception,no winter service at area of hotel despite awful ice rain and at 9:45 not any clean table in breakfast area...goes already in direction to 3 stars . 2.6.2023 thought,it should be possible to take a rest in a 4....and was kicked up in 6th floor by bass vibration and discosound from 1st floor...communication with receptionist after even just possible by shouting...additionally charged me 10fold of tourist tax as they didnt understood the difference of foreigner and resident...inadequate party during war and non compliance with basic legal regulation is not what I should expect from a 4-businesshotel. Cancelled stay at all and after giving a remark about the consequences of their behavior,I was refunded fully. For me-never ever again...
