When I booked my stay at the "Ramada Lviv," in Ukraine, the confirmation said that it was located at 2a Yavorivska Street in Lviv. ||Nope. Although the hotel is located at 2a Yavorivska Street, it is not in Lviv, proper, but in "Lviv-Zymna Voda," a village about 30 minutes from Lviv. Now it's true that Zymna Voda is in Lviv "Oblast" (province), but that's like booking a hotel in New York City but actually getting a hotel in Albany, given that both cities are in "New York."||||Anyhow, when I arrived in Lviv (the actual city) I showed the cab driver my confirmation, and he took me to Yavorivska Street in Lviv (this street name is apparently common). But of course there is no Ramada at that location in Lviv proper. It took about an hour for us to figure out where the Ramada was actually located -- i.e., not in Lviv. To add insult to injury, I called the hotel's phone number listed on the confirmation, to get help, but that phone number does not exist. Eventually the cab driver figured out the location, or I'd still be driving around downtown Lviv in a jet-lagged fog.||||The hotel's location -- 30 minutes from the city -- was also a problem the next day, after I visited Lviv and was trying to get a taxi back to the hotel. Internet connectivity in parts of Ukraine is dodgy, so getting a cab via Bolt or Uber is difficult, and the manual hailing of cabs simply is not done. And other than cabs, there are really no options -- good luck taking multiple buses back to the hotel in Zymna Voda.||Aside from that, the hotel really is amazingly nice. It's just in the middle of nowhere and is falsely advertised as...
Read moreOne of the worst hotels from the Wyndham group ever. I stayed at the Ramada in Lviv for one night. I booked a standard room, I am a diamond member and when checking in I asked if there was any upgrade and the front desk lady said they don't use the Wyndham rewards system I had to pay to upgrade... The hotel was empty. I was not offered any welcome gift. The staff was rude and not helpful. I am disappointed that this hotel does not recognize Wyndham Rewards. I can tell how cheap the staff is and are not willing to help guests. The room was very basic. When asked to check in early as I am allowed they said no you have to wait until 2pm. Stay away. This hotel doesn't recognize Wyndham Rewards or their...

The Room was stinking of cigarettes which made it difficult to fall a sleep, we had blocked shower had to wait before taking shower for the water to drop, lift not working with unhelpful staff leaving me carrying 3 people’s luggage up the stairs with broken lift and I was forced to pay for 2 taxis as they failed to order 6 people carrier despite asking and confirming several times. Last but not least cold and over salted food in the restaurant served in random order. My wife was watching me eat and 15 min later it was the...
