I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Mirage Bab Al Bahar Resort, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the resort's stunning architecture, lush gardens, and breathtaking beachfront location. However, what truly set this experience apart was the exceptional customer service provided by Mr Jayanth Reddy, the bartender, and Mr Sebastian Mathew, the restaurant manager.

First and foremost, Mr Jayanth Reddy's expertise in mixology was truly impressive. His passion for his craft was evident in every drink he created. Whether it was a classic cocktail or a personalized concoction, his attention to detail and creativity were unparalleled. Not only did he excel in his role as a bartender, but he also went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and catered to. Mr Reddy's warm and friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay.

Equally commendable was the outstanding service provided by Mr Sebastian Mathew, the restaurant manager. From the moment I stepped into the resort's elegant dining establishment, I was greeted with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. Mr Mathew's professionalism and attentiveness were evident in every interaction. He effortlessly managed the restaurant's operations, ensuring that each guest received exceptional service. His dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience was truly remarkable.

Apart from the stellar service from Mr Reddy and Mr Mathew, the resort itself was a haven of luxury. The accommodations were impeccably designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort and style. The resort's facilities, including the spa, fitness center, and swimming pools, were all well-maintained and offered a range of options for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Mirage Bab Al Bahar Resort's location on the beachfront added an additional layer of tranquility and serenity to my stay. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore, coupled with the breathtaking views, created a truly enchanting atmosphere.

Overall, my experience at Mirage Bab Al Bahar Resort was nothing short of remarkable. The combination of exquisite facilities, stunning surroundings, and, most importantly, the exceptional customer service provided by Mr Jayanth Reddy and Mr Sebastian Mathew made this a truly unforgettable stay. I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a luxurious escape with a touch of...

Avoid Mirage Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Fujairah – Dirty, Poor Service, Misleading Rules

If you are considering staying at Mirage Bab Al Bahr Hotel in Fujairah, think twice. My experience was extremely disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend this place to families or anyone looking for a clean and enjoyable vacation.

Cleanliness & Hygiene: The hotel is dirty overall. The rooms are old, showers barely work, and the towels provided are worn-out, stained, and unpleasant to use. In the kitchen and buffet area, there are flies everywhere. Many dishes are not properly cleaned, plastic utensils are often unavailable, and the food is repetitive, nearly the same every single day.

Service & Misleading Rules: The service is unhelpful and poor. The biggest shock was that kids under 12 years old or shorter than 130 cm are not allowed in the main pool. This was never mentioned on the website or during booking, yet hotel photos show children in the pool. When my kids tried to go in, we were stopped and embarrassed. The kids’ waterpark is old, rusty, and unsafe—my children actually got scratches going down the slides.

Environment & Facilities: The beach is enclosed, dirty, and has no waves—don’t expect a nice open seaside experience. Around the pool there are stray cats wandering, which only adds to the unclean atmosphere. Towels are dirty and old, the rooms feel outdated, and maintenance is clearly neglected.

Location: You’re in the middle of nowhere with nothing nearby. For the same price range, there are definitely much better hotels in Fujairah and the UAE.

Final Verdict: This hotel looks decent in pictures but the reality is the opposite: dirtiness, poor service, misleading information, unsafe kids’ facilities, and a generally unpleasant stay. I strongly suggest booking elsewhere.

My recent stay at Mirage Bab Al Bahr Hotel was deeply disappointing, marked by multiple issues that impacted our experience.

Food Quality & Options: The dining options fell short of expectations. The food was underwhelming, with limited variety, particularly the lack of healthy or seafood choices—a surprising omission given the coastal location.

Rude Service: On our first night, we arrived 10 minutes early for the buffet. Instead of courteously informing us to return shortly, an African hostess abruptly dismissed us in a disrespectful manner. Such unprofessional behavior reflects poorly on staff training and guest relations.

Pool Safety Negligence: The swimming pool was chaotic and unsafe. Lifeguards were inattentive, allowing unsupervised toddlers and children to play in the adult pool where alcohol was consumed. Tragically, a child drowned the following day, requiring emergency intervention. While the outcome remains unclear, this incident underscores severe lapses in safety protocols. Shockingly, no visible changes were implemented afterward.

Noise Disruptions: Despite non-soundproofed rooms, loud nighttime music and guest karaoke persisted until nearly midnight. We had to repeatedly demand that staff address the noise, which disrupted sleep. Even after the drowning incident, the hotel prioritized entertainment over guest comfort, resuming loud activities the very next night.

Overall: The combination of poor service, unsafe environments, and disregard for guest well-being made our stay stressful. I cannot recommend this hotel to families or anyone seeking a peaceful, professionally managed experience. Urgent improvements in staff training, safety measures, and noise policies are needed.

Note to Management: Treat guests with respect, enforce pool safety rigorously, and rethink late-night noise levels. What occurred during our stay was...

5point Review Resort type : Laid back family resort (7/10) Busy weekend and after a lot of research i closed in on Mirage .. so how was the experience 1.👍: We had booked a beach facing 2 bedroom bunglaw. Rooms were decently maintained, good amenities, great view. (Check the pics for the sunrise view from my window) Resort itself has 2 pools, one mini waterpark, a games arcade and a good stretch of enclosed beach (No waves as it is enclosed so perfect for kids to enjoy. Well maintained crystal clear water. We even saw lots of fishes swimming around us) Buffet breakfast was decent. 2. Thumbs down : Check in could have been smoother. Asking us to pay upfront for the extra bed didnt look too polite as if we were going to run away. Guys you are in hospitality industry and that was a big red sign for guests. Since the hotel and resort are joined it sometimes can feel overcrowded especially on the beach side (we had a tough time finding a lounge chair) 3. OMG factor : Beach, pools, arcade, waterslides, sand and sun. Families can have good time here. The resort next door also has watersport facilities if you want to splash some money. At night this place is quiet and peaceful. All bunglaws have a jacuzzi in room so that is an add on as well. 4. Money Matters : we paid a premium price because most resorts on these dates were full. 1400 Aed (another 150 for extra bed) was a tad expensive. Maybe in off season it is more worth the price 5. 5point Experience : We are sea lovers and we had fun in this resort. We relaxed and also enjoyed some activities. Nothing too wow but a weekend well spent. My Ratings : Worth a shot
