Nirvana - A Retreat — Hotel in Digdaga

Booking a room was a 3-days procedure, and we only received a handwritten form of confirmation in the end, because they had "an issues with their system". We had to ask 3 times for the payment link after that, since they required a down payment but didn't bother to send it. The animals are nice but the place is poorly maintained. The water was running yellow out of the faucets throughout our stay, we were advised not to use the bathtub, cause it was obvious there. There were hundreds of ants IN the room, coming out of the seams of the wood (not the door, as they suggested) attacking ours and our dog's food. When we informed them they said it was the countryside. I grew up in the countryside and we do not accept ants in our house as normal. When we returned in our room we found the dog's dry food bag unzipped and exposed to the sun. They said it was to get rid of the ants, but when we said there were no ants in the bag, only in the bowl, they said there were and that they threw some of the food out with them. When we asked where was the food they threw out they did not respond. Breakfast was the same 10 things for 5 days, served outside exposed to the sun and heat for 3-4 hours (it was covered but you can guess where the flies went every time someone opened a container). Flies were everywhere, including the closed plastic compartments that served as "dining rooms" that were also, understandably, acting like hothouses, despite the rudimentary a/c. On our 4th night half the electronics in our room failed, including the A/C and the fridge. We ended up being transferred in the middle of the night, packing and unpacking all our staff instead of relaxing. Btw, the new room did not have ants, so it wasn't normal to them either, I guess. These are only some of the issues we had and the only thing they offered was 100aed discount when we complained about the smell in our bathroom. But we did not ask for any discount to begin with, we just asked for proper service. Worst of all, we paid 850aed per night for their "premium" chalet room and on the way out the didn't even ask how our stay was or apologise for all the inconveniences they were unable to rectify. If there is anything close to Perfection it’s NIRVANA RETREAT…..

Excellent place for Families , couples and even corporate gatherings. Cherry on the cake was their sustainable theme. They way Ostriches,Emues ,horses, deers, ducks were kept was commendable. They were free to roam around which touched my heart.

Manager Navin was very kind and displayed extreme interest in his guests. The first time I called him he picked up saying my name. This shows professionalism at the peak.

We were greeted by Pari who was very warm and welcoming and gave us entire property information very well and also offered help with our child.5 starts for her. She won our heart in a second.

Chef Aalam’s food was amazing I have never enjoyed pasta anywhere else as much as I did here.

Maylene was so kind and efficient in her work while serving us food that we fell in love with her dedication and passion for people.

Shakeer was driving us around in the buggy as many times as we asked him to . He really is a gem for nirvana. He was so kind and respectful we felt amazed by his manners and respect for guests.he is a blessing for nirvana.

Parimah is an Artist , a couple of hours with her my daughter became a painter. She was very kind , gentle and comforting for my daughter I am sure she has a great art teacher inside of her. She was an Artist who was managing the Art section with various activities . I could see her work there, it was so beautiful . She reminded me of my Art teacher when I was young. 5 stars again for her.

Lastly at the Stable we met a very kind hearted gentleman named Vishnu. Not just His knowledge about horses but his love for them was just out of this world. He was very kind to help my kid with grooming sessions for horses and he was extremely good at his work. Think I would give him 10 stars if I could.

Finally I just have to say that this was a very relaxing experience for us after the hustle bustle of our city life.we really got what we wanted and even more.

Kudos to the team that still believe Guest is everything .

We checked in for 1 day and 1 nights for our 10th wedding anniversary . Beautiful location ,calm and quiet . A place so close to nature . Goose horses,peacocks ,dear ,oryx and ducks roam around the property.Watching them roaming around makes us so happy . There are so activities like outdoor indoors games for everyone ,spa facilities ,painting classes for kids ,Gardening.you can even recharge yourself by spending time in yoga practices.

We booked for Arebic Charlet ,however Manger surprises us by upgrading us in lake view Charlet and even surprised us with a cake . Rooms was amazing along with the private Pool and seating area .

Customer service was excellent. The personnel were always helpful. They are quick to respond when we request for something. I have to say that our celebration was made even more special by each and every staff we have interacted in the Nirvan Retreat . Resort was kids friendly .My 6 years old daughter loved the place . One of the best place and must visit ,if you are traveling with family or for any special occasion.

I and my husband had an amazing dining experience in their Cafe, we had our breakfast and the foods was delicious and worth it. The staff are friendly and did an exceptional customer service . We eat food without onion Garlic ,staff was so caring that they provided us food without onion Garlic .

Special thanks to Mr Mayank the property Manager for assisting with the booking and making sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. His attention to detail and warm customer service made a significant difference.

Overall, i had a fantastic stay at Nirvana Retreat and i would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubai. The combination of exceptional service, comfortable accomodation, and great amenities made a memorable experience and comfortable stay . I'm already planning for...
