We stayed with family in the presidential suite, when we entered everything was looking perfect, after we settled down a bit, we started noticing the things. the centre table glass was broken, the kettle electric kettles and the coffee machine was not working because there was no electricity into those sockets. TV was not aligned properly to the wall, the home Theatre system which was supposed to connect it with the TV was not connected and the wires were everywhere. then we went inside towards the bedroom again everything was looking very good, I switched on the TV and found out again the home Theatre system was not connected with the TV, thank God this time the wire was not out, going to the bathrooms, jacuzzi was outdated and found few things were missing from there. when I try to take shower the drainage system was totally blocked, the water was flowing out of bathrooms. It was too dirty to think this. How you feel when, you are showering in your own debris. I called the electrician which arrived quite late for the electric kettle and the coffee machine sockets, the guy came and open that lock door for the where the main circuit board was available and switched it on the key in the MCB board. after three minutes when I started on the machine to have a coffee again the key went down. I asked the guy again and I told him please give me the key of this door so I can keep it on then he say no it will not go down do not worry, it really didn't go down for almost two hours and then again it went off, looking at their pathetic services I was not having the courage to call the guy back because I know he will waste over one hour. we asked him to connect to home Theatre system, after juggling a lot he found out the woofer of the system is faulty, he changed the woofer from the other room and brought it out and after a lot of difficulties the guy somehow connected the woofer I'm sure he was not knowing about the home Theatre system but somehow he did something and it was working. I ordered room service and we ordered a food around 100 US dollars and to my surprise the lady who took the order she asked me how would you like to pay the machine or the cash I was so surprised never in any hotel in the world and their two to the presidential suite when you are paying almost 4000 US dollars somebody will ask you that how would like to pay I was really I seemed and was very very surprised that how they are treating their guests, however when the food arrived they forgot the dinner plates, and when we ordered for the dinner plates and the dinner plates arrived somehow all of us was finished 70% of the food so the dinner plates were not useful for us. the two-kind person I found in the hotel world Mr John on the front desk and Miss Zym (I think) in the restaurant for the breakfast. the hotel is running you can feel there is no coordination between the two teams as we told the breakfast is till 11 and then We reach at the restaurant at 10:40 we were told that buffet is closed at 10:30 again we were very surprised but miss ZYM was very kind to accommodate us. The Accessories which they are using for the guest in the bathrooms are very very cheap like a Chinese brand, in fact the shaving pick it what they had given was so bad but after shaving I had the bumps. I strongly recommend if you are going to stay in this hotel take your own accessories with you don't depend on their ’s what they give. Good luck everybody!! We have requested for elect late checkout at 1:00 PM but they started calling us since 12:00 PM they called us three times that we have to go I do not understand we already have once we have requested them that we are going to leave at 1:00 pm then why they were calling us for three times I think they have a strong lack of coordination between the teams the system required to be set up in the hotel so everybody get synced between them.

Mr Mohamed shawky was so welcoming and always ensuring we were enjoying our stay at the hotel The Front office manager Mohamed Ibrahim is very helpful and always had time to ensure we had everything we needed.
We would both be so looking forward each morning to go to the Farrirs restaurant for breakfast, where Mohamed would always greet us with a smile, chat and ask how is our stay not only in the hotel but in Dubai. Mohamed and the staff in restaurant would always make sure we were attended to, their hospitality is the best we have experienced anywhere from all all our travels around the world. Amazing. The highlight of our evening stays was the race nights where Pasidu greeted us on arrival and saw that we were attended to on race night. So professional and helpful. We enjoyed race night and Pasidu made it extra special. Our Rooms were always amazing and thank you to Mr. Yaqoob who always ensured we had anything we needed. The Housekeeping Attendants-Punya/Aashiq/Kyaw all wonderful. And their Supervisors , I want to thank Rohitash and farhan. After a day out in Dubai, we loved to come back to our rooms. The house keeping staff were so professional and anyone we met they were so courteous and kind- always with a smile.
The icing on the cake and the number 1 reason we always go back to the Meydan hotel is Haris. A fantastic kind hearted member of the Meydan team. We stayed a total of 9nights, Haris is the reason. He would sometimes call to our table at breakfast to make sure we were having a wonderful stay at the Meydan and Dubai and Would give recommendations what to do where to go, how to get there. He is so loyal to the Meydan and to the staff. Thank you Haris. And we will be back soon and would love to meet the staff again. The friendly and professional staff is the reason we go to the Meydan and to Dubai. Hospitality and amazing staff. Thank you Meydan. So looking forward to seeing you all again.
