Royal M Hotel by Gewan Fujairah — Hotel in Fujairah

Below is the third review, but before, this is my latest, fourth review.... there is no way to describe this hotel other than it is going down a cliff, and the management know it but they don't care because it is the cheapest at this level of room space. The moment I got into the room after check in the curtains fell off, and the second day they cleaned the room and didn't replace the towels, room with zero towels, and when I call them to fix things they are slow to act after I call twice at least, but this time the worse of all is food! The food was still ok until this visit, but this time the food is terrible, breakfast taste is aweful.

This is my third review, and over the years my rating has been declining, and this time it is the worst ever! I arrived to find that, on the check in day, someone from the hotel canceled my booking using a big lie that my card was invalid, then the front desk manager, Thank you Mr. Ahmad, called, I would guess someone from sales or reservation team, and I heard him, Mr Ahmad saying to the other person on phone "you cannot cancel the booking after the authorization on the credit card is done" which confirms the hotel was behind cancelling me booking and not booking.com and the hotel claimed! In addition to that disaster, and after waiting for 20 minutes, claiming the room was not ready because it was being clean, they gave me a room where the AC and both TVs were not working! And i don't believe it was being cleaned because the suite was boiling hot! If it was being cleaned, the staff should have turned the AC on, knowing that the guest is coming in 10 minutes. They gave me another room where one TV also was not working, then it takes for ever to get the extra bed, and another age to get bed sheets, extra pillows and cover! It took me 2 hours and 45 minutes since I arrived until I had a minute to relax. Additional issues includes giving me a key because I forgot mine at room and it was not working, and we had to wait on the corridor for more than 5 minutes without AC, yes AC in corridors barely makes any cooling. I called booking.com again and told them the hotel says it was booking.com who cancelled my booking but booking.com confirmed the payment is 100% managed by the hotel. I still hope to talk to the general manager before...

I stayed there last weekend, perfect experience started from the time call center forwarded my call to reservations and Ms. Grace answered me, she was so much professional and friendly, she gave me best price ( cheaper than Booking.com, so always call to hotel direct and ask from reservations for Grace she will give you the best price) as well she will follow up from the check in up to check out time, if everything is good. Once I said to reception my name and family name she said I know as Ms. Grace informed me, which maked me happy that I will not explain why I got nice rate :) The room is fully equipped with every thing required, the bed and pillow was soo much comfortable that I start to check which brand they are using, then I call to housekeeping and asked if I can buy one pillow? Anser was yes :) Housekeeping manager himself came down to my room with pillow and extra set of pillow cover also, I had mountain view which was so nice, try to get mountain view in high floor ;) the swimmingly pool with the mountain view and in the evening with changing light colors was amazing! Just in case if you will order any meat stake and if you are not a garlic lover same me, so inform them in advance :) or it came with garlic smell as they marinate the meet with garlic, but as I asked they change it, just took extra time :( The reception staff all is perfectl, professional, friendly and they gave me late late check out!

One more thing, the hotel is just connected to the Mall so if you are shopping lover just walk 2 min!

I like this hotel too much as it is real 5 star not only the name! Will...
