My wife and I booked a room for a couple of nights last week. When we arrived Graham, the owner, met us and showed us lodge A. It was absolutely spotless! Its part of a fully rebuilt steading and beautifully finished inside. I am a wheelchair user and, although the shower isn't wetroom style as I have at home, Graham had put some suction handles in for me to use. What attention to detail!!! We can't recommend Redcraigs lodges highly enough. Very quiet, although fairly close to the main road. It's a great place to stay for a short break. It's only a few minutes drive to a Harvester restaurant, Asda or Sainsbury's, and perfectly placed if you want to go into Aberdeen for the day. Graham is usually around to give any assistance or advice you might need. ||||We will certainly go back for another break. If we could, we would give it 15/10.||Try it sometime, you won't regret your choice of...
Read moreStayed here for 3 nights during visit to Aberdeen. First of all must comment on owner - Robert is extremely friendly and welcoming and I doubt anything would be too much trouble if he was asked - we didn't need to ask for anything as the accommodation is brilliant.||Bright and airy living room with fully fitted kitchen (washing machine, fridge freezer, cooker/hob, microwave, kettle and toaster - everything that you would need for a comfortable stay). Lovely large bedroom and shower room (great powerful shower). ||Outside there is parking and lovely countryside walk. ||The accommodation is just off main dual carriageway but really quiet. To get into Aberdeen takes less than 5 minutes so brilliant for shopping etc.||From viewing other accommodation (hotels etc) I would say that Redcraigs is excellent value for money and I would not hesitate in staying...
Read moreThis is the second time we have stayed here in the past 2 months. Graham the owner is a great bloke very helpful and accomodating. The Lodge is spotlessly clean. The parking which for us was a main issue very safe. It is very useful to have a washing machine in the apartment which we made good use of during our stay. Supermarkets were a couple of minutes away. The lodge is the right side of Aberdeen for a swift departure south. Always a plus as Aberdeen traffic can be very heavy at times. Dogs are made welcome which we were unaware of from the website information. You should not be put off by this if you are not a dog lover. As the apartments are some of the cleanest we have ever stayed in. If we were coming to stay again we would make this our...
