We are a group of 5 who over the last 5 years have met every month to have a steak , all venues are picked by the individual in rotation We don't know until we get our destination where we will be so it's a surprise this year we have started scoring the venue's Location within 15 minutes from the bridge inn it gets 5 points and decreases as time to destination increases, atmosphere again it's a joint agreement 4 out of 5 service it scored 4 the food was amazing really, however 4 of the steaks were not perfect in choice, the rare was a medium rare, and the medium rare was medium well, otherwise it would have scored maximum points out of twenty it scored 16 points

Had a family meal in the conservatory for 13 people. Service was fantastic and the food was unbelievable. They catered well to vegetarians and vegans. The soup starter had such a good flavour and was served with a soft warm bread roll. The tomato risotto was also very flavoursome and a perfect portion size. The vegan chocolate truffle was the highlight for me as it was so creamy and I would even say it’s one of the best vegan desserts i’ve ever had.

We were made to feel welcome by the owners from the minute we stepped in the door at 8pm. Top floor room was lovely with everything you need available, even down to some very nice toiletries! The whole place felt homely, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast really nice and good selection, evening meal ab fab and surroundings lovely. And must give a mention to the friendly cat Steven!!!! 🐈‍⬛ Thank you so much......we will see you soon 😊

Well where do I start! ||How about a very warm welcome from the staff and an excellent bar service with a multitude of local beverages to tempt us. I settled for a Abber Falls Gin which was a great start to proceedings. ||Our party of ten were presented with a neat and tidy well balanced menu and the choices made. What was to follow was completely unexpected….||The request for a wine list brought a prompt choice of a perfectly chilled bottle of Montagne and served in a real ice bucket without request. How very refreshing these days. The choice of red was a brilliant Medoc and a 2010 at that. Even without decanting but it was absolutely delicious out of the bottle. ||My starter of Garlic King prawns were simply fantastic and cooked to perfection, as were all of the other choices around the table. No baskets of bread required here and excellent portions brought great satisfaction to the conclusion of starters. ||The menu gave two beef choices, one being a local filet and the alternative a sirloin. Opting for a rare filet I could not have been happier when it arrived. A super generous cut and rare to perfection. Talk about melt in the mouth an absolute taste sensation. The accompanying wrapped asparagus and local baked sliced potatoes worked perfectly and despite me not taking advantage of an available sauce, three mustard options appeared in front of me to select from if required.||Bravo all concerned but certainly a huge well done to Head Chef “Rich Netherlands” for clearly having immense pride in what he delivers to the tables.||Absolutely brilliant and...

My family and I all had a wonderful comfortable and relaxing stay at Nant Yr Odyn Country Hotel that is situated in a most convenient and tranquil location on Anglesey. My family and I were grateful for the warm welcome on arrival and also our wonderful warm and very cosy bedrooms with delicious biscuits, hot chocolate, bottled water and excellent coffee and tea making facilities. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished with plenty of cupboards for our clothes. All the staff were most friendly, helpful and professional and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfasts, coffee and tea. The chef who works at this hotel is very experienced and talented. I am a vegetarian and I enjoyed your vegetarian bacon very much, please keep this on your menu! It was a memorable and special experience to stay in such a magnificent hotel that has been tastefully converted from an 18th Century farm complex and lovingly decorated and restored. The superb spacious and well-furnished bedrooms were fantastic to relax in after an enjoyable day exploring the local heritage sites. Many enjoyable walks are available locally with wonderful nature reserves and scenery. We highly recommend this outstanding country hotel and we all look forward to returning...

This was an unusual overnight stop. The conversion was typical of those done in the '70's and basic things today like soft close room to corridor doors were missing. The menu appeared very traditional Welsh/English too. Eventually though these early observation flaws didn't matter and became almost 'endearing'. The beds were comfortable, clean and fresh with quality biscuits around the tea/coffee maker. My room was missing a TV 'remote' and the staff went above and beyond by bringing a replacement TV with it's 'remote' to my room. The staff were one of the reasons for making this stay memorable, old school service but with real Welsh warmth. And the food. The menu may have looked as though all the dishes were just like those anywhere but the way they were cooked was amazing. Real flavours, they really did taste home cooked but only if home cooking was of a really high standard. We finished the meal with an expertly made Irish Coffee and I can't remember a better one since my first experience of thse in the late '60's. We would most certainly...
