A Truly Wonderful Experience
We recently had the pleasure of staying at Go Glamp with six of us: two adults and four children—and it was nothing short of amazing! This campsite strikes the perfect balance between the traditional camping experience and the comforts of glamping, making it an ideal choice for families.
The facilities are top-notch. There’s a kitchen area stocked with thoughtful touches like hot water bottles, a kettle, and a plastic teapot, making it incredibly convenient to prepare hot drinks or instant meals like coffee and pot noodles right in your tent. The showers and toilets were impeccably clean, contributing to an overall comfortable and hassle-free stay. We couldn't find a single fault with anything.
Alan, our host, truly made our stay unforgettable. He was incredibly helpful and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When our stove unexpectedly stopped working, Alan graciously lent us one, saving the day. His warmth and hospitality added a personal touch that made our experience even more special.
One of the highlights of our stay was the proximity to Tony the pony, who quickly became our daughter’s new best friend. Our tent was perfectly situated right next to Tony's enclosure, and feeding him carrots our children absolutely loved.
Go Glamp is the perfect spot for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors without sacrificing comfort. We had an incredible time and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a brilliant, easy camping/glamping experience! Can’t wait to book again!! Will definitely stay longer next...

Alan and Kim could not have been any more accommodating with any requests we had. All our group was placed together on one side, and a communal BBQ and huge gazebo was provided so we could all be in one place. The site is very peaceful and secure for the children to run around. Not too big either. There are horses next door, which kids loved and on the other side there is a cat sanctuary, so you can hear the roaring of the Lions from time to time. The facilities were great. Very clean toilets and showers with hot water and a large communal kitchen that had all the amenities needed, from microwave, fridge, kettle, crockery, cutlery, charging point, etc… It has a table and chairs to eat and 3 sofas to seat and relax. Alan went above and beyond, he was very friendly giving the kids rides on his buggy car. We felt like we were at home. I cannot fault anything. Parents and kids had an unforgettable weekend there.
Disliked: I did not dislike anything to any degree but there is train truck is next to the camp, so it was a bit noisy when the trains were passing. Fortunately, the service is very reduced at the weekends and no trains were passing at night. We stayed in the yurt and there is a skylight in the ceiling. Being a person that sleeps in a pitch black room, I did struggle a bit with the light at 5 in the morning. So if you are like me, bring your...

They made sure we was happy with everything and checked to make sure people are respecting the rules of being quiet after dark. Alan suggested a lovely shop in the village to get some dry firewood where we was also greeted with a smiling staff member. The toilet block and showers are well kept, clean and fully stocked up with tissue and soap. The campsite backs onto a big cat enclosure so we was hoping to hear the lions but unfortunately they wasn’t about the night we stayed. I am already looking to go back in the summer. My oldest boy has Autism and struggled at first at the concept of staying in a new place but soon after we arrived Alan offered to take the boys for a quick ride on the golf buggy to see where we can keep out door cold. This definitely got them excited which have the trip extra brownie points! Thanks Alan 😄 We had a beautiful view of the stars and was told that as it’s not busy the next day we had no rush to leave and we could have a relaxed day taking down the tent which was lovely! Also the pitch flat was with plenty of space…really enjoyed our stay thank you
Disliked: The only thing was the train that passes by at night was noisy, but we got used to it and it didn’t ruin our time at...
