Hogwarts Bed & Breakfast (B&B) — Hotel in Borough of Swale

We generally agree with most of the previous reviews. It would appear Mike is no longer involved with the business. We were met by Rose who is lovely. Location and parking are fine. Our room was comfortable and clean. Sadly the en-suite let the room down badly. There is no hiding the mould issue, and the 4 star rating is a reflection of that. The toilet cistern was faulty and constantly dribbling. Okay, that can be fixed. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast and you could help yourself. We had to wash up cups and cutlery before we used them as other people had not washed items properly before putting them away. A dishwasher should be provided in our opinion. Although no fault of the B&B or the owners we were disturbed by other residents in the evening but that comes with most B&B’s. We were told breakfast was from 7.30 until 9.30 which is perfectly reasonable. However at 05.15 we were woken by at least 3 or 4 men clearly getting ready for work. We could hear every sound they made until they left at 06.15. This didn’t happen on the weekend so we are certain these were contractors. Overall we liked Hogwarts and the bathroom aside the other issues were not the owners fault. We hope this helps...

Spent one night at Hogwarts, 12/4/23 ,whilst visiting family. Without doubt it is one of the best b&b's we have stayed at. Rooms, hospitality, security, coupled with excellent choices of breakfast are all of top quality. Mike is ex military,and Hogwarts is truly a extension of his military career in the running of his business with attention to fine detail on every front . We had the most amazing host. He's an amazing guy that will make you laugh a good bit before you even fully checked in. The prices are really good for the size of the room. Bathroom and especially the shower is a bit small and not made for people taller than 1.70m.
