Novice camping trip with my 5 year old the location and facilities here were amazing! POD 2 (inc Electrics)
Pros:- Easy to find the location 2.Summer who checked us in and helped us throughout the stay was friendly 3.Shower and toilet facilities were clean, warm and very modern. 4.Site was secure with cctv in certain areas 5.Plenty for kids to do; playarea, chicken coop open area with rabbits to watch, alpaca & sheep to pet/watch, site fishing, plenty of open grass space for them to play 6.Pod was very spacious and included kettle, mini fridge, small heater and toaster as well as some tea, coffee and sugar with takeaway cups. There was also a fire pit and picnic table assigned to our pod with drinking water tap outside too. 7.Views in the pod are beautiful come rain or shine and very peaceful 8.Guests incredibly respectful and didn’t hear a pin drop after 10pm 9.Pods are lovely and warm without mini heater so bear this in mind when packing clothes and blankets Well lit during the evening if you need to use the facilities but not imposing Very family friendly. Children all went off and played well together Vending machines on site as well as opportunity to buy fresh eggs and a breakfast food truck some mornings Notice board with all local events of interest going on (useful for those new to the area) Local places to eat nearby (all listed on the website) we went to Bellflower which have 30% discount code online you can sign up to and a play area for the kids. Billy bobs is great to visit too and only £3 for the hour for kids to go and play in their barn activity centre and playground. Cost was very good value for money
Things to be aware of:- Couldn’t see any signposts on the property drive on where Reception was or where to pick up the key (building on the right hand side as you drive up the main drive to the location) 2.Take some mosquito spray with you for the Pods. They are located around a pond and often gather near the front doors to the pods, which get into the pod as soon as you open the door or windowsz
All in all, amazing trip and would...

The pitches are huge in size which allow for set up of awning and outdoor seating. The park is great and our little boy spent most of his time playing on there. After an issue one night (mentioned in the dislike) the owner couldn’t be more apologetic (though not her or the sites fault!)
There is a lake/pond, live animals & chickens. The vending machines are fully stocked and there are posters around the toilet block with near by amenities/information which was really useful! I will continue to recommend this site to family/friends looking for a nice chilled out break.
Disliked: This is NO fault of the site whatsoever (hopefully some parents/grandparents will consider the behaviour of their children after reading this!) but some parents do not give a hoot of what their children are up to or what they are saying - initially they play lovely but as the day/night goes on they become more feral with swearing, shouting & screaming (up until 10.30pm/11pm) our second to last night was ruined by a VERY inappropriate ask being made to our 4 year old by a kid much older than him & then during our last night another older child was incredibly naughty, shouting, hitting and pushing others & genuinely not a very nice boy, but again (the seasonal pitched) grandparents couldn’t care less despite being right next to the park/field & being able to hear him.
We haven’t let this deter us though & will...

Arrived at the site and was meet by a really friendly and helpful young lady. Explained everything we needed to know. Was even given a site map.
Found our pod, which contained a full size double and a single bed, small fridge, toaster, kettle and bin. They even provided tea/coffee,few biscuits . Outside there is a picnic table and a firepit.
Kids play area was in constant use with lots of laughter 😀, the alpaca 🦙 were very friendly, the ducks were so quiet and chilled walking around the site.
At first glance everywhere looked clean. Few little cobwebs on pod walls but nothing a duster wouldn't remove...
The only problems we had was when we made the bed . There was lots of spiders webs and crumbs on the bed bases which could do with a hoover. I understand we were in the country but it was quite a lot., Also or friends also mentioned the same issue.
I would recommend that the mattress are lifted of and the base hoovered every now and also we had a hand brush and shovel but I think it would be advisable to provide a lg brush as we kept bring in grave from the pathway . Which I know is not the end of the world but ..
Disliked: Showers need to been cleaned more regularly due to the...
