We stayed in the secret garden in October 2019 and I am lost for words. The Secret Garden is the most amazing place me and my Wife have stayed. The Garden its self is out of this world with all the little details and the log burner. The hot tub was lovely to stay in whilst enjoying some bubbly. The little extras that were on the side were a lovely thought. We will be returning here or another one of Kent Cottage Holidays get aways soon as we had the best time.

Romantic weekend away in the Hobbity cabin at Kent cottage holidays. The hosts were on site to answer questions and and ensure we had plenty of fire wood etc. Great location to explore Canterbury cathedral and Christmas markets and fish restaurants in Whitstable Bay. We enjoyed cooking breakfast on the wood stove and enjoying the outdoors hot tub. The gift bag of Kent luxury snacks and the prosecco in the fridge were thoughtful touches!

We stayed in The Enchanted Faraway Tree for a 2 night stay as part of our honeymoon and it couldn't have been more perfect. We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was great and didn't take long to heat up. We cooked all our food outside on the wood burner which was fabulous. Really can't fault this place and we intend to go back and try the other properties. Chris and Michelle were so helpful and accommodating. Perfection.

Spent the weekend at the Enchanted Faraway Tree cottage. I was expecting a relaxing and peaceful stay but all we could hear was the road noise. It turns out the cabin is only 15m away from the A290 which appears to be the main road linking the two nearest large towns, and supports busy traffic until late into the night.

The place would probably have been 5 stars if it wasn't for the road noise, but once you notice it and realise you've paid a lot of money for an un-relaxing noisy cabin by a main road the small things start to annoy too. Yes - you're paying a premium for a quirky little cabin, but at £200 a night it's the price of an expensive hotel, you'd expect it to include little things like a pint of milk for the coffee which they supply, or for the bathrobes to not all have broken belt loops, or for the owners not to be on holiday in Spain when you ring with a problem.

The hot tub was nice once you got it going, but it took nearly 4 hours of burning wood to get it up to temperature. The sales literature says 90 mins, maybe in August but obviously not in October. However, it's outside so again the road ruins any atmosphere.

It's a shame, it could be so much nicer if it wasn't for the constant traffic noise, but as it is I simply wouldn't recommend to anyone, especially not at the...

Nicely decorated. We stayed in Secret Garden. First impressions you have the 'wow' factor. The mini goodie box was lovely. Bedding lovely and fresh. Then, you start to notice the nails in the external fence and by front door (dangerous) and cobwebs. It's clear that the owners are 'formal' / rigid with a tokenary 'have a nice stay'. We felt worried that we wouldnt get our deposit back as there were so many stipulations. I wanted to keep slippers and eye mask but was so worried. The wording in the instructions is concise and to the point but rigid. I like the downloadable guide, that was good. I hated the sentence 'if you leave something behind it will not be sent on to you'. However, location is great and quiet and I felt very relaxed. Deposit was returned very fast. Kitchen is well equipped and towel robes and slippers were clean and fluffy. £5 for 15 rose petals though...

Had a very nice time at the Enchanted Faraway Tree for my husbands birthday. The place is designed with a lot of attention and love, beautiful setting to spend your time in. Great location as well, in between Canterbury and Whitstable. The only missing bit was not having an electric kettle - seems a bit too much to have to burn the logs on a hot day, just to have a cup of tea. Generally think it’d be awesome to have something easier to cook with as you really don’t want to start the fire when it’s hot outside. So we ended up having to eat out all the time which increased the costs of our stay by quite a bit. Overall it was...
