My goodness just incredible. As I arrived the building itself is visually gorgeous and definitely has that wow factor. I arrived at 9pm and was greeted so warmly it was just lovely. I was facilitating a course so was shown where the room was to set up and then shown to my room. The building is so quirky and the room was lovely. The bathroom was a good size, nicely decorated and the shower was lush! The bed was huge and super comfy. The only thing I struggled with was the lack of a full length mirror but that wasn't a major issue. In the morning I headed downstairs and again was warmly welcomed by the staff and shown to a table. The breakfast was delicious with the choice of a fried breakfast, toast or cereal, fruit juices, tea and coffee. The lunch was amazing with the choice of a hot meals and salad, pasta etc and a pudding! The evening meal was outstanding. We were given 3 options for starter, main course and pudding and it genuinely was delicious. I feel like I won't need to eat for a week after the amount of food I consumed over 2 days! The room I had for the course was spacious, light and had everything I needed in it for delivery. The ease of just needing one HDMI cable for both plugging into the projector and having audio was really good. We had a water cooler in the room as well as access to tea and coffee throughout the day and the staff couldn't have done any more as they checked we didn't need anything regularly. Honestly I can't fault them. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 days there and look forward to coming back when not teaching and exploring the absolutely stunning grounds a little more.

Very much enjoyed my one night stay here in July 2021. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location is ideal for those wanting to get away from it all, very peaceful and surrounded by lovely countryside. The closest shops, pubs etc are at the village of Deddington, 10 minutes drive away. Most of the accommodation is in 2 or 3 annexe buildings, right next to the car park. Don’t take your heavy bags to reception, collect them later from the car. My room was modern and very clean, with a lovely view over the lake. Plumbing is excellent, be careful, the water gets hot very quickly! There are very extensive grounds with a lake. Ideal for an early morning walk, or an evening stroll, finished off with a few drinks in the bar or on the terrace overlooking the lake. The only downside was that one area of the grounds (but not all of the grounds) seemed to have a lot of dog fouling, I didn’t see any signs to say that was a designated dog walking area. Please dog owners, pick it up! There is an additional charge for breakfast, but as the cost of the room is very reasonable it was still excellent value for money and the breakfast was very good, with lovely staff taking my order. I would highly recommend Middle Aston House and will certainly stay here again if I visit this lovely part of the country.

We arrived and we’re welcomed and checked in by our host , check in super quick , the actual house is beautiful, really modern but with a nod to the period property it is , beautiful lake and seating area , lovely relaxing lounge and nice cosy bar which is only opened whilst someone is on the premises ( not late ) our room was in a block away from the main house and next to the car park , sadly the room was very very basic and small , the double bed was quite a small double but the sheets were clean , pillowcases and bed comfy , very small tv on wall and a tea and coffee completely try , bath and shower and loo Very small but fine for the night We had a really lovely stay , felt safe , welcomed by a kind host and we’d definitely return soon Once the rooms are refurbished this venue will be stunning A little remote no shops or restaurants or take aways close by , you need a car

We arrived to be welcomed by a kind gentleman , checked in very quickly , given some helpful house tips and guided to our room , we parked out car in the car park it was free and ample space there for all guests .||We were told we should look round the grounds once settled in our room and asked if we would like breakfast in the morning ( there is a charge for this ) ||We went to our room which was not in the main house but in a block 2 min away with all the other rooms ||The room was very very basic it reminded me of student rooms at uni , however the small double bed was comfy and nice pillows and white bedding ||We had a long mirror , completely tea and coffee and hot chocolate ||Clean towels ||Small hairdryer ||Small tv ||Bath and shower and loo ||Shower gel ( basic ) ||We did sleep well , we had no noise from|Other guests and we stayed in a Saturday night in August and was in our room at 9pm as we’d had a busy day ||The hotel mainly deal with conferences and corporate events so it’s not a hotel so to speak but my review is based on the fact that the property and grounds are beautiful, we felt safe , we slept well and the host was kind and not intrusive and made us feel very welcome ||We would go back they are doing renovations so hopefully the rooms will get a nice makeover ||The bathroom was in need of a overhaul...
