Exceptional customer service it has to be said. Maria met me on arrival. The check-in process was conducted in a friendly, personal manner whilst sitting on lovely squashy leather sofas. I had bespoke dinner and breakfast times arranged, a taxi back to the airport at half the price Gatwick Cars charged me to get there! Late checkout was arranged at no extra fee. My washing was done very kindly (establishment would not be able to takeresponsibility for any damaged items but they all came back perfect anyway). The room was small but perfectly appointed with many of the facilities and comfortable touches missing in bigger chain hotels. You really felt like you were on a relaxing country break rather than overnighting at an airport motel! The restaurant was very nicely decorated and presented. The food I must say was certainly adequate so that you don't have to go out looking elsewhere for dinner. Breakfast was very nice, with a good range of hot and continental options. The only issue I had was the shower leaked spectacularly and set the fire alarms off, however I have been assured this has never happened before and I'm sure they will look into why it happened. The managers seem to take the quality of service they provide very seriously, which is refreshing and reassuring. You do hear planes going overhead but I'm sure that's the same throughout the area. Oh - and WiFi and smart TV was provided but the smart TV connection kept dropping out multiple times such that I ended up watching it on my laptop in the end anyway. Basically- I would definitely stay here again based on the excellent customer service and comfortable...

|Having booked what we thought was a room in the main building, imagine our surprise when on arrival we where given a key and directed what can only be discribed as a small converted garage within the guadrangle. One small window for ventilation and a fan the size of a chinook helicopter and twice as loud. A permenant light outside like a football stadium floodlight ensured that any chance of sleep would be minamal, paper thin walls ensured that we would be serenaded all night by a guest who's snoring decibells could only be admired and only disrupted by the intermittent noise of landing and departing aircraft. Ended up watching tv untill our taxi arrived in the early hours.|Whist I Appreciate the hotel cannot be reponsible for the highly vocal snoring or being located underneath the final airport approach, I would suggest that any further room additions are more carefully considered in respect of associated noise (lights switching on and off, TVs, and of course snoring. In my opinion hotels of this nature should not be erected as close to a major airport unless sufficiently sound proofed. Ihave had previous stays at some of the other hotels adjacent and enjoyed a pleasant start to my vaccation.|Please maple manor advise customers of your proximity to the airfield and let them decide before its too late. Shall not be returning anytime soon and only then as a...

We had easily the worst experience with a staff member who may have been a Romanian girl? Her name starts with K or C. This could’ve been a good review if not for the very disrespectful girl who absolutely ruined this experience for us. I asked her for name at one point and she then demanded to know mine. I told her what room I was in, she verified it, and as I walked away she seemed to have a lot to say however it was in her native language. While checking out I asked her what it was that she said as I walked away, but claimed she was only asking who I was despite that she spoke in another language and that the conversation had already happened so her explanation does not make sense. To end this conflict, we left to wait outside for our uber. While we were waiting for our uber, she came outside for another confrontation yelling that she could have me charged for having allegedly recording the conversation. I repeatedly said “Have a good morning.” indicating that I was not going to engage with her disrespectful behaviour any further. And then to top it off, she complains to Booking dot com saying that it was us that was disrespectful. Absolutely abnormal behaviour. Just couldn’t leave things as was. We travel a lot, literally have used Booking over a hundred times so after they heard our side, they will be looking further...

Worst sleep I've had- I was concerned about the runway noise, Gatwick is across the lane road (wife booked it) No .. we were in an attached bungalow, #7 not in the Manor, no internal access, you need to walk around the building to get to inside.. AVOID .. It's well sound insulated, but it was like an oven 10°c overnite and I'm covered only by my own supplied sheet and still cooking, aircon which is above the bed is on 18° but it continually turns off, the radiator and towel rail were turned off, so I assume body heat and the small fridge are the source 🤷‍♂️. Chair in the room is about to break, no remote for the tv (got one from security, worked badly) Tv is mounted on the side wall and angled upwards, I assume it's there as opposed to the wall at the end of the bed, - as it's soo small you can't see whats on, even here it's near impossible because of the angle and bed position. Breakfast Dirty glasses, dirt / rust ? in the spoon container, Sparse breakfast, tinned mushrooms, cardboard masquerading as bacon I saw a room as I walked past in the morning rooms inside look better,

I would avoid this place if possible. We were shown to our room which was located downstairs - this was a tiny room and not like the photos. It was dirty, incredibly dusty and hot. Walls and door do not provide any sound proofing so we had the pleasure of listening to the staff and customers all evening ordering drinks and talking about their upcoming trips. The dust in the room was disgusting- you could see layers of dust in the corners of the room, on the bed sheets, tables and fan. It stuck to everything we had (see photos) and we found the thickest layers on the carpet in the corners. It felt difficult to breathe and we had the windows open. Orange bacteria found on the shower which was fantastic 🙃 not sure if the shower has ever been scrubbed. Our shower also didn’t immediately drain so we had a mini pool to stand in - yay. And to top it off, we had a lovely damp feature above the door in our room on the ceiling. I would save your money and book somewhere else. Uber was around £20 from Gatwick and then £20 back so might as well stay somewhere closer and cleaner.
