Black Horse Cottage — Hotel in Dartford

It still is, I'm still here, rooms are in very good condition, brand new carpet, (please kindly take your shoes off at front door) nice hot water from the tap. The temperature of the shower currently depends on which room you book and how the thermostat is set for you. Nice warm rooms if you turn the radiator up from the bottom corner and close the window so that it is sealed and you can hardly hear the traffic passing by. The front garden is being renewed and cleaned up, perfect for someone to park their shiny brand new car this springtime and summertime before the autumn. Pleasant, kind atmosphere in and around the B&B although currently Feb 2022 breakfast is self catering but you'll have to ask if it is still the case when you book and if it is how much and what type of supplies you'd get regarding sugar, coffee, toilet roll etc. as there's plenty of it. There's a microwave, kettle, Fridge with small freezer compartment, smart internet TV and wifi booster in the rooms.

But no one can use the Black Horse B&B for unlawful purposes whether at the B&B or any suspect of any kind as they strictly don't permit it and will be reported. Guests are normally advised to report anything suspicious to the owner and any law enforcement officer.

So that makes it a nice, trusted and kind atmosphere here at the Black Horse B&B in Bean and there is a local Premier shop up in the village or there is a nice walk through the woods to Lane End Co-op store...

Hi everyone if your looking for a place to stay this b&b is definitely not the place to stay the staff and owner except one cleaner are very rude and the rooms are falling apart mattresses filthy and vile it’s not a bed and breakfast just a vile bed with damp smells thru bathroom to make u sick mice and bed bugs and hardly any hot water microwave broken fridge make loud noises leaking toilet and if u don’t drive your stuck in a run down place that landlords don’t care about they just want the money and it’s not disabled friendly if your disabled your treated like muck they don’t give right key numbers no one on site to talk to about problems and it says no smoking but seen loads who have smoked in rooms...

Does not look like photos on the website. Did not answer phone when we were unable to find the place in the photo! No reception area, keys accessed by key safe, they text you the number. Did not see the owner. Should not be classed as a B&B as breakfast not available. Room clean enough. Tea, coffee, kettle, microwave and fridge in the room. The shower could do with some tlc, but plenty of hot water. So much more could be made of the room as there is a door (locked) into a little court yard. There is plenty of parking for the 5 rooms available, but inconsiderate parking by other residents meant I had to park across the road. Unlikely to...
