This is probably the worst B & B experience I've ever had. I booked it because of the proximity to Alton Towers. After travelling all the way from Centre parcs in the Lake District with my 11 year old daughter, it was supposed to be an end of holiday surprise for her and I was hoping for a good night sleep. At just before 3am a loud piercing noise started in the room. I woke up in a fright and had no idea what it was. It started again at about 4.45am, at which point I thought it was a faulty smoke alarm. I told the owners in the morning that I'd had a terrrible night. I was told it was their carbon monoxide detector. When I pointed out that I felt ill with lack of sleep and that the trip to Alton Towers was supposed to be the highlight of the holiday, the owner said' well it was an accident, I didn't do it on purpose'. She offered to not charge me for the first night but there was no apology and she didn't bother to ask if I had slept ok after the second night. It ruined the trip to Alton Towers. I spent the day feeling sick and grumpy with sleep deprivation. Felt too ill to eat breakfast on the first morning. On the second, it was over cooked scambled eggs on cardboard toast. AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO...

We have just had a 2 night stay here in the double room in the main house. From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome and very at home. The room was so spacious and cosy. Very well presented. Lovely comfy bed, tea and coffee. Huge shower. Lovely view from front window. We brought our cat too. Pet friendly places are so convenient. Lovely cooked breakfast. They really put effort into presentation. There is a tea room where we had dinner. Again amazing food and great choice. Everything is homemade. The gardens are just beautiful, so big and gorgeous trees and plants. Apple trees and pear trees. Huge pond with lots of fish. A swinging chair to relax on. So relaxing to be here.Would most definitely recommend and we will 100%...

Its just average I've been to better and I've been to worse, I think the meal was over priced, £18 for a three corse dinner the soup was warm no taste I make my own soup and I think soup should be served hot. The dinner again was warm not hot, I had salmon they served it with roast potatoes it should have been serve with small new potatoes the veg was the same as what was served with the roast dinner, eg broccoli and roast potatoes with salmon I don't think so. The apple pie needed more sugar it was very tart everyone on the table was complaining about it. I definitely won't be going again and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone I'll tell exactly what it's...

No hesitation in recommending this family run B&B and tea room. It is a working farm just off a very quiet country main road. There is no traffic noise. Accommodation was traditional for a guest house/B&B. Our room was large and airy and perfectly clean. There was also a communal area with TV lounge, dining area and kitchen. We didn't use this but good for longer stays maybe with family. Breakfast was ample, plenty of choice and served promptly. We enjoyed our stay here.

Marsh farm Abbots Bromley, food is very good and although this is a bit out in the countryside it is well worth a visit. Though you would be advised to check before you go that they are open as they do take pre-booked coach parties and may not be open every day. As the name suggests it was a farm and the food is served in what appears to be the old farmhouse. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful, peaceful bed and breakfast. A gorgeous garden and a cafe. Set in the middle of the Staffordshire country side. A reservoir and walks close by. Plenty of places to eat out
