Mayfield Snuggery Lodges — Hotel in East Staffordshire

Absolutely outstanding!! I'm a little late leaving this review and I've only realised I hadn't left one whilst i was trying to book another stay.

We stayed in the large 1 bedroom lodge in August and I have to say, it's the best lodge we've ever stayed in. We have had many lodge stays but this one was next level. Not just down to the beautiful, no expense spared lodge itself, but Ruby and Jason and the team really do go above and beyond for their guests! It's so lovely to see how much heart and soul they really have put into this mini-home-feel holiday park. We couldn't have felt more welcome!

The lodge was very well equipped with every utensil we could ever need and on top of the welcome treats in the fridge/freezer we also got a homemade cupcake delivery from them 🥰 The washing machine was a bonus too as it meant I could get it done before we came home.

My favourite part was the hot tub area! Absolutely amazing to be able to sit out in comfort, and our particular lodge was very private, which is nice when you're wondering about in your swimwear. We were talking to (I think) Jason's dad who was telling us about all the design and hard work they put into the lodges, down to drilling every tiny hole for the starlight ceiling above the hot tub and I must say, it's clear to see the passion and pride they have in what they have built, and rightly so!

We actually ended up with a puncture while we were there, and they even helped us get back on the road, too!

There really has been no detail missed with these stunning lodges, and as already mentioned, the customer service was some of the best we've ever had.

Keep up the fantastic work, we look forwards to staying again...

Amazing! Currently staying here for our mini moon. We had a great time so far. Everything is pristine clean. On arrival there were congratulations banners inside, a bottle of prosecco, some iced bun cakes, and 2 pots of ice cream in the freezer. Everything feels like a lot of thought has gone into the design and build. We've had some great weather while we've been here too which makes everything better. There is a guide book on arrival with very clear instructions on how everything works from lights, blinds, to jaccuzi, and sauna. There is even a list of every item in each room, this makes it so easy to find something you are looking for. Couldn't of asked for a better lodge to celebrate our marriage. We have loved it so far and will be extremely sad to leave. Such a lovely place. Thank you for letting us stay here.

Edit: just got home from staying here, and we are depressed now we're home, we really want to return. We enjoyed it so much! We met one of the owners, 'Ruby', she was a pleasant and lovely lady. There had been an accident which closed off the main road, and Ruby was walking around to each lodge to let everybody know that it would be difficult to leave the area. We were out at the time and had a lovely tour of the country trying to get back due to our sat nav guiding us constantly back to the accident zone and closed road. But we got through in the end. Anyways cannot fault these Lodges. Beautifully presented and cared for. I would recommend it a 100% to anybody. We loved it to much. Thank you...

Second time here, and we cannot fault the place. These are very high standard lodges with attention to detail.

We arrived home yesterday after a long weekend break away.

The lodges are immaculate and every little detail is provided. We arrived to x2 small ice cream tubs in the freezer, from local Daltons dairy 😋, very delicious;A box of x4 cupcakes 🧁.... perfect; a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of milk in the fridge 🍾🥂. There is also salt and pepper, coffee pods for dolce gusto coffee machine, and sugar.

This place is perfect and tranquil. Great for a relaxing break or a hiking break. We hired daily, and then returned to the lodge to relax in the sauna then hot tub.

The booklet provides handy information too, from instructions on how to use the appliances, local takeaways and places to visit.

We most certainly will be staying here again. You cannot go wrong with this place. The staff are extremely friendly. Kevin even remembered us from our visit 3years ago. The staff work so hard to keep these lodges to high standard, so it's well worth paying the extra.
