Barn Owl Glade Cottages and Glamping — Hotel in East Suffolk

Absolutely loved this place!!

Such a beautiful area, almost magical. In the middle of the nature. Plenty of parking, easy to find. There are firepits with also bbq option in front of every pod, also at the main house and there is an area to make fire in the middle of pods as well. We spent a weekend in one of the pods. It was very clean and warm inside when we came in, they had turned the heating on before our arrival, which was very kind. The bathroom was so clean. There are clean towels and bed sheets etc. There is good phone service and also wifi available. There is a mini fridge, electric hob and some kitchen utensils if you want to cook. They have an amazingly beautiful pool as well. There is a main house where you can find food, board games, a park outside for children.

Just returned from a week glamping in one of the pods. There were 4 couples, so we each had our own pod which worked perfectly in the current covid conditions. The pods are small but perfectly formed. Comfortable double bed and good shower. We all took a pre prepared meal and were able to use both the full size fridge in the pod and the communal fridge freezer for storage. Whilst we enjoyed great weather during the day, the ability to eat in the communal club house in the evening was perfect. We enjoyed a camp fire every evening, and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The local community pub serves great food and offered a warm welcome. Whilst we did use the swimming pool, we all agreed that it was in need of some tlc. Absolutely incredible experience at Barn Owl Glade! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. We stayed in one of the four lodges, and it was spacious, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary utensils, making it easy to prepare meals, and we loved having the BBQ and wood for a cozy evening fire—it truly made our stay special.

The surrounding area is stunning, and exploring the nearby towns was a real highlight. It’s the perfect escape from london!
