I would like to give this property a 5 star rating, the grounds are beautiful and the accommodation is of a high standard, however when we visited there was a massive fly infestation. Which I wish I could say was an exaggeration, but we were truly plagued by them. We were unable to eat or cook in the property without covering and constantly clean sides down. Which is not what you want to be doing on holiday. Some of our party were even kept awake at night, due to flies landing on their faces. At the time of our stay there was also a young family who suffered the same problem in their accommodation. The owner was also staying at the property for one of our nights and was very pleasant and tried to help as best he could, but as he had a manger to deal with the issues on site, contacted her to ask her to help us. which she was unwilling to do as she said she was going on her own holiday. Read moreLovely peaceful place to stay. Plenty of walks to take the dog on every morning and follow the well maintained footpaths to explore routes on your OS maps. The only downside was the bloody flies!!! Bin collections are fortnightly in Suffolk (and bizarrely they don't recycle glass!!) so the three cottages waste soon was overspilling because they were already full from the previous occupants and so already crawling with maggots due to the heat, and so caused us to get through a full box of 24 fly papers in a week which we had to purchase to try and...
