Greatly enjoyed staying here! Mel and Rich were absolutely delightful and looked after us. Bed was super comfortable, shower hot. Rich kindly allowed us to check out late, so we could finish a work day. Sunsets are to die for in summer, unreal view. Kudos Rich & Mel and we’ll be back soon!

A great base for our cycling group of 12 with ample indoor room to meet up as well as the outdoor space and a bike shed. Great cycling on the doorstep with quiet roads We had trips East - Diss/Eye SEast - Aldeburgh/Thorpeness North - Wortwell/Mendham East - Southwold/Walberswick

Amazing place. Location is unbelievable. In the middle of nowhere, surrounded by nature. It's eerily relaxing at night because there is almost no sound from distant cars. We saw a Chinese Water Deer outside the back door this morning, a kestrel and a majestic black dog.

I would like to give this property a 5 star rating, the grounds are beautiful and the accommodation is of a high standard, however when we visited there was a massive fly infestation. Which I wish I could say was an exaggeration, but we were truly plagued by them. We were unable to eat or cook in the property without covering and constantly clean sides down. Which is not what you want to be doing on holiday. Some of our party were even kept awake at night, due to flies landing on their faces. At the time of our stay there was also a young family who suffered the same problem in their accommodation. The owner was also staying at the property for one of our nights and was very pleasant and tried to help as best he could, but as he had a manger to deal with the issues on site, contacted her to ask her to help us. which she was unwilling to do as she said she was going on her own holiday. (I just hope her holiday wasn't plagued with flies and she was able to relax) other than the fly issues this is a lovely place to get away from it all and would like to say I would recommend if the flies are...

Lovely peaceful place to stay. Plenty of walks to take the dog on every morning and follow the well maintained footpaths to explore routes on your OS maps. The only downside was the bloody flies!!! Bin collections are fortnightly in Suffolk (and bizarrely they don't recycle glass!!) so the three cottages waste soon was overspilling because they were already full from the previous occupants and so already crawling with maggots due to the heat, and so caused us to get through a full box of 24 fly papers in a week which we had to purchase to try and...

Lovely barn conversion. The part we stayed in was for six people. There are two double bedrooms and one twin. One of the double rooms is on ground level as is one of the two bathrooms . View's from ground floor or upper floor are over open farm land. We will be booking this place again sometime next year. Would advise though that if you need to use the upper floor access is via a...
