What an incredible cottage! I’m writing this review on our final of three nights staying in Orchard, the larger of the two. The place has so much character. The building was constructed in 1864 as marked on the exterior and the inside is the perfect blend of historical character and modern comforts. The landscaping is beautiful as well. But the best part of the stay is the owners, Seamus and Eileen. They live on the same grounds as the cottages and are tremendous hosts. So kind and accommodating. Seamus welcomed us upon arrival and poured us a “welcome” glass of wine. As other reviews have mentioned, Eileen even baked a loaf of bread and had it waiting for us upon arrival. The cottage is fully registered with the NI tourist board and complies with all safety regulations for a guest house - something which is a great comfort.
