A friend booked weeks in advance for a party of 18. Myself and one other was 30 mins early and explained the rest where on their way but may be a little late as an accident had occurred. I wasn't directed to the table that was booked and stood awkward for a few seconds until I asked whether we could have a drink while we waited. We were directed outside as it was table service. Waited 15 mins, trying to flag a waitress for said drink. We were just about served when the rest of the party arrived. The party arrived on motorcycles. I over heard what now i found out to be the owner/ landlady, griping from the parties arrival. As the rest of the party noticed we were seated outside, they asked could they also sit with us. More, frowning and tutting was done before the elderly woman agreed. One of the party who did sit indoors overheard staff members remarking again about how they were inconvenienced (although they only said this after a round of 18 drinks had been purchased). After our meal, we went to our car that was situated on the far carpark. The motorcycles left first, and what I can only describe as a wailing banshee, could be heard over the sound of bikes, was stood in the road waving her arms about like she was directing planes in to land.

The young girls that served were lovely, and the 2 elderly, menopausal Karen's that work there should take a leaf out of their books.

Moral of the story. It's a nice location, with fantastic customers that loved the bikes. But as ambassador of a bike group with near 600 members, and 12,000 nationwide,. I guarantee I will be telling my 'biker gang' to stay clear so you guys can have your nice and quiet couple of years of working before you retire

PS one of your other customers dogs have chewed through one of the table legs. But I guess criminal damage doesn't come into the equation as the little doggie wasn't riding a...

Absolutely lovely place to dine in and drink. Wonderful on a lovely sunny day but very warm and cosy on a grey day. Have been there twice and got a very warm welcome everytime. Servers are very friendly and the food is very good. I tried venison for the first time here and also got the Sunday roast. The roast beef was well done but the venison was absolutely tender. We also tried couple of beers and had a very nice experience overall.

Situated on Shore Street, on the rural-remote Applecross peninsula, in the North West Highlands of Scotland, the Inn boasts lovely views across the Inner Sound to the isles of Raasay and Skye. Dining at the Applecross Inn is like nothing else, from the sea views at almost every table to the fresh seafood caught locally. They offer a wide range of menu options including Snacks & Sandwiches, Classic Pub Meals, Local Sea Food Options and Daily Specials! They also cater for young visitors with kids options, as well as those with specific dietary requirements including vegetarian and vegan dishes. The little Inn can be extremely busy during our peak season so booking is always recommended to...

The Applecross Inn is a traditional Scottish inn located in the village of Strathcarron, on the banks of the River Carron. It is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike, and is known for its friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and stunning views of the surrounding countryside.

The inn was built in the 18th century and has been in the same family for over 100 years. It is a charming building with a thatched roof and whitewashed walls. The interior is decorated in a traditional Scottish style, with exposed beams, stone floors, and a roaring fire in the hearth.

The inn has a reputation for serving some of the best food in the Highlands. The menu features classic Scottish dishes such as haggis, neeps, and tatties, as well as more modern fare such as seafood and pasta. The wine list is also extensive, and the inn has a wide selection of beers and ales on tap.

The inn also has a lovely garden where you can relax and enjoy the fresh air.

If you are looking for a traditional Scottish inn with friendly service, delicious food, and stunning views, then the Applecross Inn is the perfect...

We stayed at a nearby campsite and popped in for lunch and a drink. We were given a very warm welcome and seated straight away. Drinks very well priced and plenty to choose from. I was pleased to see one of my favourites on tap - Inches cider. My 3 kids had food from the kids menu which received no complaints. Great portion sizes and tasty. I had 1/2 pint of prawn tails which was lovely. The whole glass was full of tails so you get more than you expect. My husband had the monkfish and chips which he said was really nice. We all had puddings too. Plenty of options with the usual pub classics - choc cake, Eton mess etc but all very nice. All this was under £100! Very good value and great quality food. Staff very attentive and friendly. The pub was very busy but very well managed. A true hidden gem that won’t disappoint if you visit. Thank you Applecross Inn.
