We have just returned from a 4 night stay in Maple (the one bed lodge) I honestly could write pages about this place. We made a very last minute decision to go somewhere and what a find! We had an amazing time. ||Self check in. Tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and long life milk and icecubes were a great touch. Great location for visiting surrounding areas. ||No WiFi but thats not what we went for so not a big issue for us, we used hotshots on our mobile phones if needed, O2 worked OK in some places in lodge. ||We had shopping delivered about an hour after arrival by Asda. The delivery guy loved the lodges and asked to look round so just shows how first impressions impact. I'm sure he'll be booking.||The road outside was having some resurfacing work done in daytime hours but we just found alternative routes out if necessary. ||The lodge was very clean, lovely bathroom, modern kitchen, hot tub (which we used each evening) nice private decking area, comfy mattress, great open plan living area, parking for 1 car right by lodge and we had beautiful views surrounded by wildlife (regular visiting robins, squirrels and rabbits). ||If anyone has limited mobility like us, this is fab, all level access with one step (lower than a kerb) at front door, wet room and when you park in your space there is only a small amount of gravel to negotiate until you are on paving and decking. Great if you rely on walking stick/s or a frame. Not so much for a wheelchair unless you only use for managing fatigue, as bedroom access into bathroom is a little tight due to lovely wooden sleigh bed. ||Extra details we loved; rechargeable torch (going to get one for home, great idea), heated light up mirror in bathroom, hooks everywhere, little storage box for outdoor cushions and picture frames with helpful info. ||Additions that could do with improvement; pillows as they are pretty flat and would only add to luxury of bed and a suitable king size fitted sheet, it had a double stretched onto top which left lower half of mattress bare, just would add to aesthetics. ||Additions we would of liked; a small side table or coffee table for drinks in living area and a coffee machine, even we had to supply our own pods knowing what make was there, just an extra luxury to add to experience. ||We 100% will be back at some point, keep up your high...

The lodge is absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in elm and had a beautiful veranda and private area with our hot tub and BBQ. Honestly if you are looking for seclusion, this is the best place to go. We can honestly say we had a very very relaxed trip. The hot tub is amazing too 😍 and I cannot promote the privacy part enough!

Some pointers for the owners or other guests. There's were some basic things that I felt were missing. For example, there were no tea towels or kitchen roll and only one sponge. If the guests are expected to leave the lodge clean and tidy, please leave sufficient materials. For example, maybe some steel wool or scourers for the bbq. We stayed for 4 days and were only provided with 2 dishwasher tablets so we needed to do washing up also.

Check out time is a little early, considering you're expected to tidy up and even take all your bins out 😊 I would suggest if possible to push this to 10

Be sure to bring toilet roll with you! For a four night stay, we were given one roll. God job I brought my baby wipes. Haha

There is literally no WiFi or hardly any signal. Not too much of an issue for us. We enjoyed the cut off, but maybe if you want to get some stuff planned, do this beforehand.

It could be nice to have some basics like olive oil, and salt and pepper in the lodges. We have had this in cottages/lodges before and it just makes cooking away from home tons easier.

Overall a lovely stay, we did feel very relaxed. I just think there are a few little things that would improve people's...

Where do I start!!! Me and my partner had such a much needed relaxing weekend away in the Maple lodge. From the get go as we walked into the lodge, it was super cosy and warm. Especially when it was below 0 on the night. Beautiful open plan living room/kitchen with tons of space to maneuver around. Massive bed and massive bathroom to add to the experience. Hot tub was very spacious for both me and my partner and was the highlight of our trip away, you couldn't ask for a better place/environment. The small touches in the kitchen like ice cube tray filled up and also little biscuits don't go unmissed. local town leominster is only a 15 minute drive with a wetherspoons so that done us great :D!!

2 little improvements I'd also like to put to also help others and Asymmetry lodges out.

1st one would be a mop within the lodge, a small thing but also helps in certain situations like getting out the hot tub and leaving foot prints all around the lodge as you get into the shower area.

2nd and last one would be. When we came, we had snow for a few days before and getting up the small gravel road was a slight pain so would be good if the paths were salted or gritted if bad weather is due. To avoid skidding and getting stuck.

we're deffo booking for next year, thank you Aymesty lodges for...

Just returned from a half term break in Beech. Everything was perfect. The cabin was clean and well maintained, and stayed cosy and warm when the temperature dropped. The hot tub was excellent, and it was lovely to spend the evenings outside looking at the moon! The surrounding area is pretty quiet, but that's what makes a break here so relaxing. Ludlow is great for a visit, and if you don't mind a bit of a drive, Hay is lovely too. We visited Stokesay Castle too, which was very atmospheric and in beautiful surroundings. Absolutely could not fault Aymestrey Lodges. Thanks, we hope to return!

Beautiful lodge (we stayed on Oak), very comfy beds, absolutely spotless and clean. Hot tub was very nice and owners happy to answer any questions and help. Riverside pub 2mins walk away is lovely and parts of it from 1600s. Had a lovely weekend here and will definitely come back again.
