In June 2024 we stayed in the vintage caravan which I can only describe as a piece of Welsh paradise. The caravan itself is fully equipped with everything you need including an amazing bathroom with heated floor and lovely shower. The mature gardens are beautiful with bird feeders outside your window (Bird TV) which attract a wide range of birds including an amazing woodpecker. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. One bonus for us is that we were able to bring our dog. We cannot recommend this place enough and can’t wait to come back. Here are a few photos to give a glimpse of this amazing place. We came back for a return visit in September 2025 and, once again, had such a lovely time. We’re already excited for our next visit!

Nestled at the foot of the Preselis, the vintage caravan at Banc yr Eithin is wild and posh all at the same time! A luxuriously cosy nature sanctuary, tucked away with it's own private garden. It comes with a comfy king size bed, underfloor heating and fully equipped kitchen. It's fabulous entertainment to see the birds and squirrels up close and personal on the feeder outside the window. Once we tore ourselves away from this paradise, we climbed the hills, explored the sea shore, and visited ancient churches, cairns and cromlechs. Hugh and Susanna are wonderful hosts who have thought of everything for their guest's comfort and made us feel very totally at home. We have stayed twice and always leave planning our next visit.

We returned here for a second summer getaway with our rescue dog, Pablo. We loved it even more than the first time! The cottage has everything you need and is so clean, cosy and pretty. The facilities left us wanting for nothing and we loved the sauna. The walks from the doorstep and on the coastal path are breathtaking and the information pack was helpful as always, helping us make the most of our stay. Susanna and Hugh were so welcoming and are truly great at what they do. Thank you and we can’t wait to return to make more happy memories!

What a wonderful hideaway. This is such a beautiful place with a number of small private cottages as well as a caravan (this name doesn't do it justice) The accommodation is very high spec, with lovely touches and great decor. There is a wonderful well looked after 'wild' garden with a pond and the owners are currently making another one for swimming. There is a barn for all the guests to use with bar billiards, table football, table tennis, and pool as well as an honesty bar. Banc-Yr-Eithin is in the Pembrokeshire National Park , close to the cute town of Newport,.There are also many lovely beaches and walks to explore. When we were there we also took the boat to Skomer island which is an easy 1hours drive away. The owners Susanna and Hugh have and continue to put so much effort into making this a fabulous place for a short or long break. I will definitely be...
