Bankhead Farm — Hotel in Great Britain

Wow what a hidden gem, a beautiful relaxing luxury break !|We have stayed at many beautiful and often luxurious hotels, home and abroad, this time we were visiting Scotland to attend a retirement party, and were looking for a cosy family run guest house, Bankhead Farm ticks all the boxes, it is a working farm, and very peaceful.|This has to be one of the nicest places we have ever stayed, it's fairly rural so your own transport would be beneficial for visiting nearby towns, that said the taxi service we found to be friendly, excellent and fairly priced.|The first thing that hit us as we walked into the room was the high quality of everything in there, the bed, pillows and bedding was of a very high standard and so comfortable, the bathroom was very modern with a large walk in shower, again no expense spared, good quality towels, the usual flannels, shower cap, hand soap, lotions etc., all premium quality. Large TV, radio, usual hospitality tray, hairdryer, all the normal things you would expect were there, the other stand out for us was the cleanliness, it was immaculate, a big plus in my book.|The breakfast choice was excellent, juices, good choice of cereals, fresh fruit, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries etc., followed by a full cooked breakfast, toast, tea or coffee.|The whole experience was 1st class, the hosts Rob & Heather couldn't do enough for you, extremely friendly and helpful without being over bearing or in your face, the whole checking in and out was so relaxed, I would 100% recommend a visit here, you will not regret it, we would return and recommend in a heartbeat, thank you both for such a lovely...

Stayed for three nights in August 2021 with our two children (aged 4 & 6). ||We cannot recommend Bankhead Farm enough, the location is excellent and views over the Forth and beyond are stunning.||We stayed in the family room which is excellent, with a bunkbed for the children and great facilities. Even has a juliet balcony which gives great views in the evening. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained.||Breakfast is excellent and always remembered our preferences the following morning which is a nice touch. ||Hosts are very nice people and truly professional at what they do.||Location is great whether you are visiting Edinburgh or just passing through.||For Edinburgh, the tram system has a really good park and ride station at Ingliston which is only 10 mins away from Bankhead Farm. Amazing hotel! Beautiful views. Friendly owners. Very clean and tidy rooms. Keep the coffee jar full on a daily bases. Very good WiFi coverage and fast internet and very accessible to the local areas. Heard about a great breakfast but unfortunately I’m of to work too early to try it but they leave the breakfast area open so I can get some cereal before leaving. Only here as work requires me to Travel but if your in the area for any reason I would 100%...
