Berthlwyd Hall Holiday Park — Hotel in Great Britain

Let me start by saying that we had a great holiday. Overall the property was lovely, very roomy and finished to a good standard. It is reasonably well equipped too, although it would definitely benefit from another bathroom, or at the very least another toilet as one bathroom may not be enough for 8 people. The one bathroom was quite basic with an electric shower over the bath and a shower screen that didn't fit properly and wouldn't stay in place so we ended up with a wet floor. Throughout the property there was a slight smell of damp. One of the bedroom windows looked directly onto some kind of junk store immediatly outside which was a little disconcerting. Another bedroom was right next to a fish pond which meant slleping with the sound of trickling water from the pump. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped, although the fridge was rather small to cope with self catering for 8, and the description implied that there would be a separate freezer which there wasn't. It also implied that there was a washer and tumble dryer which may have been in the laundry next door which appeared to be closed during our stay. Someone was using a washing machine in the building thouch, as we could feel and hear it when on spin cycle. The description also mentioned garden which I think was the small patch of grass with 2 picnic tables on it. Before booking, 4 of us had read the description on the website and none of us had noticed that it was on a holiday park. Not that this was a problem, it's just that it wasn't quite what we were expecting. WiFi? In theory its there, but in practice it doesn't work. The location was great for us. A perfect base for exploring the area, and stunning views. The pool was great and we used it most days. The manager and staff were lovely and we had a great time. Would we come back? ...

This property has four good sized bedrooms. The best one has a four poster bed, a sofa bed and a bath & shower room, the second best is a four poster bed, a single bed and a shorter than average single bed with a bathroom, the other two rooms are a twin room with bathroom and a small double (nowhere near as nice as the others) with a victorian roll top bath. The living are is great, the big living room, dining room, bar and kitchens are brilliant for entertaining. We went here for my Grandparents birthday as a family, we had roaring fires, lots of wine and a lovely time. A great get away. ||||My only issue is that my boyfriend has asthma and he really struggled with it being an old house and quite dusty so if you have allergies definatly take some...

We came to stay in the apartment here last year and have revisited this Easter. ||The manager and other staff have been friendly and helpful. We think the indoor pool is great and the accommodation fantastic value. ||The apartment comprises four bedrooms sleeping 8 and has a large lounge diner. So e people might struggle with the three steps up to the lounge but our toddler managed very well. Parking right next door and within range of the free WiFi we also enjoy the well equipped kitchen. The only concern for some parties is the single bathroom and toilet. ||We would highly recommend this great value apartment for a visit to Conwy, Llandudno or North...
