Perfect for cycle touring. Super easy and friendly hosts. The site is excellent value, the facilities may be considered basic but they were spotlessly clean and charming. The site is peaceful and scenic and a lovely cycle ride from Chester. Best site I’ve stayed on in England

Great little stop over, very quiet. It's just a basic site with ehu and toilet and shower ( 1 each for women and men) 1mile walk to the village of christlleton ( very pretty village with a couple of pubs) and the canal and 2 miles walk nto chester along the canal.

What an absolutely lovely hidden gem of a campsite, was perfect for a night away, a few beers and firepit, the owners are lovely and took pity on me taking me to the local shop for wine ! Top marks and will definitely be back

This is a real gem of a site. Loads of space, lovely views. Simple facilities but everything you need. We had a really lovely family weekend away. The owners are really friendly and gave us our own section of the field as there were quite a lot of us. They even provided extension leads for mains electricity. There is a lovely walk to Christleton which is a pretty village. The Plough Inn is only a short distance away which is dog friendly and does great food at reasonable prices. We thoroughly...

Firstly the good, the setting is lovely and it's quiet ,it's close to Chester Park and ride, now the not so good, I know that it's a farm But!! The whole place is shabby and dirty, the toilets and shower were filthy, the bin hadn't been emptied for days, the owners have a dog that shits all over the field and they don't pick it up, the field grass needed cutting, the entrance to the site is narrow ( ok for me but bigger vans would struggle). This place could be amazing with...

Lovely little working farm campsite. Basic amenities but clean and good condition, inexpensive and really friendly people. Stayed for one night, 4 adults 4 children, we were welcomed on arrival & it was nice to be on such a relaxed site without a huge list of do’s and dont’s. The children loved seeing the cows and waking up to them. We had a little accident with our van and the campsite owners were lovely to us about everything and helped us get sorted. Thankyou so...
