Birch Bank Farm Caravan & Campsite — Hotel in Great Britain

This is a real gem of a site. Loads of space, lovely views. Simple facilities but everything you need. We had a really lovely family weekend away. The owners are really friendly and gave us our own section of the field as there were quite a lot of us. They even provided extension leads for mains electricity. Firstly the good, the setting is lovely and it's quiet ,it's close to Chester Park and ride,now the not so good, I know that it's a farm But!! The whole place is shabby and dirty, the toilets and shower were filthy, the bin hadn't been emptied for days, the owners have a dog that shits all over the field and they don't pick it up, the field grass needed cutting, the entrance to the site is narrow ( ok for me but bigger vans would struggle). Lovely little working farm campsite. Basic amenities but clean and good condition, inexpensive and really friendly people. Stayed for one night, 4 adults 4 children, we were welcomed on arrival & it was nice to be on such a relaxed site without a huge list of do’s and dont’s.
