Black Mountain View — Hotel in Great Britain

We booked this as a last minute stay and had no idea what the area would be like prior to arriving. As a tourist unfamiliar with the single lane roads on the way here I'll admit I worried about our choice but it exceeded our expectations in every way. ||||We stayed in the downstairs bedroom which was spotless. The bathroom was compact but well laid out. The bed was very comfortable and the use of the bar fridge in the common area was welcome.||||Our hosts were lovely, very friendly and happy to chat. We took one of their recommendations for dinner in Llandeilo and were quite happy with our choice. From the moment we checked in we knew it was going to be a great holiday. We booked both top level rooms for 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are large enough, clean and inviting. They are freshly made every day with new towels. Every morning you are treated to a beautiful home made breakfast. Everything you eat tastes special as Heather has home made bread, her own farm eggs and homemade marmalade. ||||The location of the bed and breakfast in very scenic and peaceful. Cannot recommend this place enough! We stayed for two nights with our daughters (age 4 and 7) and had the whole cottage as a self contained unit. The hosts were extremely helpful and welcoming, introducing the kids to the animals and offering suggestions for the surrounding area. They provided us with fresh eggs (from their hens), fresh bread, granola, cereal, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, homemade jams, milk, teas and coffees which set us up brilliantly for both days!
