Blue Lodge Farm — Hotel in Great Britain

My wife and I have just got back from a fantastic 3 night stay at the wonderfully appointed Blue Lodge Farm.||On our arrival we were met by the very friendly owners, Colin & Rose who instantly made us feel at home where we enjoyed a freshly made cup of tea and some homemade cake. ||We were shown to our rooms - we had a large en-suite double with an attached lounge and my sister who was accompanying us had a large en-suite double adjoining our room. ||Both en-suite rooms were very well appointed with comfy beds, quality furniture and fittings, TV and plenty of tea/coffee, fresh fruit and some cake/biscuits. ||The bathrooms have big walk-in showers with excellent water pressure, basin and w.c and complimentary toiletries. Our lounge had three 2 seater sofas, coffee table, large flatscreen TV log fire with pleasant views over the fields. We enjoyed regular sightings of the local deer population who passed very close to our window - all in all it is a very peaceful countryside location ||Breakfasts were served in the breakfast room a few doors up from ours where we enjoyed fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals cakes/patisseries/croissants followed by a cooked breakfast of your choice from a varied menu all beautifully prepared. It’s fair to say that you won’t go hungry 😋. ||Do not hesitate to stay here, this is quite simply one of the finest B&B’s that you could stay in at such a great price. We recently visited the Bath area to celebrate our nephew’s 40th birthday. Little did we know how hard it was to find accommodation in the area but we were fortunate enough to find Blue Lodge Farm. ||We were lucky to be allocated the room with the large comfortable lounge – the family room. Colin and Rose were superb hosts – a delightful couple for whom nothing was too much trouble. We can fully endorse what other reviewers have said. They made us so welcome that it felt like we were staying with friends. The breakfast was superb. Treats were provided in the room when we arrived – a box of chocolates, bottle of wine, more chocolates, etc., etc.. The whole place was very clean, very tidy and well maintained. Although there wasn’t a fridge in our room, we had access to the large fridge in the dining area at any time. ||There is also plenty of parking space. ||Taking into account the quality of accommodation and everything that was provided, including great hosts, Blue Lodge provides excellent value for money. ||We heartily recommend Blue Lodge and if we are down there are again, it will be our first...

My wife and I along with my sister returned to Blue Lodge Farm for our second visit. We were greeted by Colin and Rose like we were long lost friends/family………The standards and hospitality on offer at this fabulous B&B are second to none. ||Wonderful accommodation and breakfasts along with all of the over and above finishing touches like; Daily freshly made cakes, fruit, wine, chocolates and we were even given a 1/2 dozen freshly laid eggs from the farm when we left.||We will definitely return again when we have our next family meet up and we would all just wish to say a big thank you to Rose & Colin for looking after us so well….simply superb B&B that is worth of...
