There was a shower and bath , lovely bedroom,. We ate breakfast, and meals alfresco , it was really nice. we visited minack theatre, porthcurno, st just, cape cornwall, treen , falmouth, st nichaels mount, lamorna cove, mullion, poldhu cove, all wonderful , we walked down from cott to join the coastal path and im very fit , but the path to lamorna cove is tough , we carried on then to mousehole which is slightly easier, walk from treen camp site to porthcurno is easy if you take the top path to the car park, again quite hard in parts if you take the swcoast path , Julia the host is lovely . , a truely wonderful stay , thanks . ps we travelled down with train and hired a car which you do really need , but all the great places , st ives , kynance cove, falmouth, are only a good...
Read moreHaving just completed a little road trip around Devon and Cornwall I felt compelled, now we are home, to write a review about Boskenna Home Farm. We stayed here for 3 nights and could not have been made more welcome. We stayed in one of the seperate cottages attached to the main house which was beautifully furnished with a lovely en-suite shower room. There were lots of nice little touches in the room, like biscuits and coffee/tea making facilities, hairdryer etc and I feel sure that if we needed anything Julia would have been more than happy to facilitate it for us. Her breakfasts were absolutely delicious with plenty of variety and choice of cooked. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in a home from home...
Read moreWe stayed at Boskenna Home Farm for two weeks in early November. This has to be the best place to stay in Cornwall! The standard of the accommodation is exceptional, it is clean, up to date and of high quality with lots of little things added in. Julia is exemplary in her hosting, nothing is too much trouble and she is always on hand if needed. The food that Julia provides is also first class. The location is fantastic, central to West Cornwall yet quiet and away from any busy roads. Just 5 minutes from the SW coastal path between Lamorna and Penberth one can stay without needing to use the car. Boskenna Home Farm demonstrates that there is only one way to have a holiday in Cornwall and its at this well appointed location with such...
