We've just got back from a weekend camping at Brongwyn and I have to say it was a superb weekend. Campsite is small but very well laid out in that its very easy to navigate your way to your pitch. From the moment we checked in at reception it was a great experience. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble. Pitches are a good size and a obviously there is the option of electric or non electric pitches. The onsite facilities are superb and very well kept. Toilet block is very clean and well maintained as was the pool area too. Our two children loved the play area and pool especially. We ate at the onsite bistro the last night of our stay and it was a lovely experience from start to finish. As we arrived for an early sitting (advised to book in advance) we got chatting to the staff and they were all so friendly and helpful. We asked if they could make a few minor changes to our little boys food choice and this was no trouble whatsoever. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and the service was excellent too. Lovely option to have onsite and you can also order takeaway pizza to your tent if you like too!||||We are already planning a trip back here next year but for a bit longer stay. Personally I found not having a very strong Wi-Fi signal no bother at all as it was refreshing to not be immersed in technology for a weekend. ||||So happy we found this campsite and definitely looking forward to coming...
Read moreSo I booked to stay here for 6 days 24th july- 29th july. No wi-fi all around site except at pool area, not near our tent! Our pitch is next to the recycling/rubbish dumps, someone recycling bottles at 03.12AM this morning. Quiet time starts at 10pm, so of course people IGNORE this and playing football/cricket after 10pm along with their shrieking kids! Also if you arent staying in one of the cottages its £5 to swim £3 for kids so thats not included in your already paid for site use. No security patrols which is a must when you mix people with other members of the public who cant adhere to rules of camping/campsites. Also its supposed to have a 'games room' its 1 pool table and baby climbing frames? Baby toys. Our tent space is half grass and half really rough gravel/hatdcore cement the site asked me to park my car and pitch my tent on the GRAVEL and use the grass space for recreation! It was hard to hammer pegs into hard core cement and large gravel stones with arthritis in my wrist, and to me not being able to pitch on grass was the biggest disappointment of all. Disappointed overall to have travelled over 3 hours to get here, to find site isnt as stated when I booked....

Beautiful cottages inside and out, the grounds are vast so I could tell they do their best in maintaining it to a high standard without losing its tucked away and more exclusive charm and if you prefer to travel with your Caravan their are ample places to park up all you need do is book. Their is a decent gym room, luxurious spa facility, steam and dry sauna which were all awesome and a brilliant sized inside pool. The hosts were very attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the area. There is access to Wi-Fi however signal access varies, they do have a payphone however it was broken at the time, that to me was one of the only thing's to let it down however I am aware that the owners are working on it. I would advise caution with any takeaways you consume as most were lacking in the quality, us city birds are used too. My family and I were so entranced by Wales and Bramble Cottage that we plan to return their next year!! The drive through itself only, seems to have convinced my parents that Wales is where they want to retire to eventually instead of Cornwall, it is breathtaking on a rare and...
