Honestly this was my first time camping in UK and you can imagine what would be my situation. But trust me from the day I decided this place till the end Debbie and Steve was so helpful. Let me talk about the place I reached the place without any trouble. If you are coming via Bypass A38 just keep in mind the nearest landmark is Holiday Inn Hotel, the farm is just 10mtr ahead oppst side of the road and if you are coming from Bristol Airport once you cross the Cowslip Grn you have to slowdown due to low visibility, it’s immediate sharp downward . The Campsite had all the facilities as mentioned in their website, incase if you need anything extra just give a call to Debbie she will arrange in no time. They really built everything keeping guest in mind multiple toilets with shower facilities. There is a freezer and refrigerator to keep your food and drinks. The campsite is fully secured no outsider allowed. Just ensure you are carrying enough food and grocery you won’t find any store nearby, you have to travel all the way to Bristol which is not really far though (approx 6.7mls). The farm is surrounded by lot of places to walk and jog around. And if you have kids I suggest should visit Wookey Hole in Somerset. It’s a nice smaller campsite, good facilities, brilliant service from the site owner, would stay again! Check on their website they have music fest coming up.

Beautiful family run site with great facilities. We loved the location as it was central to so many places to visit across the area like Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, the beach, Bristol etc. The bus stop outside the gate was great for getting around and leaving the car on site, and the farm shop was just a few minutes walk away, packed with delicious fresh produce and local wine from the Aldwick Estate, just behind the site. There was a bit of noise from the road but we quickly forgot about it. We had picnics by the stream, dinner in the Barn, breakfast out on the patio area, watched the wildlife come and go, and chatted by the fire pit before turning in for a great nights sleep. Debbie was informative and helpful and really put everything into ensuring every guests comfort despite the site being very busy while we were there. The onsite shop was well stocked and welcoming, and the facilities were immaculately clean; and not a push button in sight! It's a beautiful gem of a place, hidden in full site.

With the help of Debbie, I organised a big birthday gathering for friends and family. The weather was on our side which helped enormously but the whole weekend was just faultless. The site is really good. The location was idilic, near a stream and a lovely orchard. General facilities were very good but the support and care we had from Debbie, Ian, her father and son was second to know as they were so kind. A really fabulous campsite with lovely people running it. I would recommend hiring the fire pit, buying the wood on site and barbecue. It made our life so easy.

We arrived at Brook lodge Farm after a fair bit on the road. We were told the check in time was 9, though admittedly we were 25 minutes late due to traffic coming out of Bristol. We had rang ahead and spoken to a lovely gentlemen that assured us that was fine. He'd provided us with the gate code and then told us to head to reception where he would check us in anyway. We did just that and the same gentlemen, showed us a spot that we could park our camper up on for the eve. We had told him that due to being so close to the road and wanting/needing a good nights sleep, would it be possible to adhere another spot? He told us how the parts on the inner land weren't suitable as it had rained and flooded so proceeded to show us a bit we could park up on just around the corner. We were delighted with his customer service and effort to accommodate our request. We parked up around the corner where he told us was suitable. This particular spot was right next to a portaloo that unfortunately did not smell pleasant. We had noticed the smell pretty much instantly and did not want to sleep with that around us. So we started to move the van towards and empty part of land and quite quickly we were rudely intercepted by a woman who proceeded to have a go at us for the size of our camper, to which we pointed out the same size camper just next to us. She had a go at us for the arrival time, to which we apologised for again, having done so genuinely and multiple times at reception and on the phone. She was incredibly padantic and passive aggressive when we'd explained we needed to move due to the smell of the portaloo. She reiterated many times, more than necessary that we were on special land and not to leave without reversing on the special land. It was incredibly hostile from the second she started to interact with us and it ended with us having to say, for her to please enjoy her evening as we didn't want to take up any more of her time. Very...

My husband and me stayed there for over a fortnight. It is one of the loveliest sites we have every stayed in. We were in pretty, natural surroundings but with excellent facilities such as good hot showers, clothes washing and drying, microwave, fridge and freezer etc All areas were kept very clean. There were attractive outdoor sitting areas and a covered one if we decided not to eat in our caravan. We had a 3 year old and 1 year old grandchild visiting us a lot when we were there, they loved it - there were 2 good wee children areas. The children loved seeing the horse in the next field and looking out for the squirrels. There was also a pheasant called Bop Bop that appeared on occasions. We enjoyed watching the swallows flying back and forwards from their nests. The surrounding area is very pretty , the site is also well situated for visiting other places of interest. The site is close to the A38, which could be a bit noisy, but we got used to that quickly and didn’t notice it. The family that run the site were very welcoming and helpful all the time that we were there, they were good fun too. Thank you very much Doug, Debbie and Ian , we hundred per cent recommend Brook Farm...
