Broomhills Farm River Eco Pods — Hotel in Great Britain

We hired all three of the pods for a family celebration. We have been before and we were keen to show the others what a beautiful, peaceful place this is. The pods are well equipped, the setting is just stunning on the banks of the river Lynne near Longtown. Two of the pods, the Comfort and Elite have wood fired hot tubs, their own shower and toilet, and outdoor cooking area, the third, the Eco pod, has a composting toilet and outdoor shower, outdoor cooking area, but as we were all together we shared the facilities between us. We had an amazing 4 day stay and could easily have stayed longer. The surroundings are beautiful and the river is lovely for paddling and rock throwing with deeper spots for a quick swim. The hot tub is fantastic, we'd watched the kids splash around in it for two days and when we finally got in ourselves we wondered what we'd be doing by not going in ourselves for so long!

The pods were clean cosy and spacious enough for our family of 5, (4, 8 and 9 yrs of children). The little pod shop was great and there's a room in the farm with a fridge freezer that you can use, as well as mains charging if you need it.

Catherine was a huge help from start to finish. The Elite pod was fantastic, comfortable and well equipped! The views were great from the large deck area! Would be even better in summer to make more use of this area! The walk down to the pod isn’t too bad, if a little muddy, but expected! Would definitely recommend the elite pod for couples.
