Bythynnod Bryncaled Cottages — Hotel in Great Britain

This barn was a real find!| We stayed in Buedy Llwyn Piod Barn- a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom barn. It was truly a beautiful property. Clean & very well equipped- even wellies & walking sticks to borrow. Aswell as a dog cage if required. Everywhere was so spacious both inside & out. Even with the max 8 people in there, you would still have plenty of room. The hot tub was a special bonus & the addition of the covered gazebo with large table & benches to eat outside whatever the weather is an excellent feature. The enclosed garden area with stunning views over the neighbouring mountains is fab for kids & dogs! And watching the sheep in the field next door from the kitchen window each morning was wonderful. |The location is so peaceful sitting above the valley with just the stream running alongside the barn to break the silence. We were blessed with gorgeous weather even in Oct so sat out most days. |We walked from the barn across the public footpaths and into the nearby forest. But a short drive away is Bala town with plentiful cafes, a few restaurants and bars and good local amenities. We even took the mini streak train ride from Llewelyn to Bala and back. ||The only gripe I have (& it is a small one) the check in is very late at 4-4:30pm and check out is extremely early at 9am. This and having to strip all bedding from beds & put in bags, along with towels before leaving. Also requested to ensure all kitchenware is clean & put away & not left in the dishwasher. This is the only property I have ever stayed in that required a lot of house keeping to be completed by the holidaymaker before departure. Given that the time between check out & checkin is some 7 hours, I’d have hoped that this time was plentiful for the barn to be serviced by the cleaners rather than holiday makers. |That said we didn’t let it deter our...

We have returned home from here today and what an absolutely beautiful place it is. Sioned has thought of everything for those cottages that anyone could ever need when staying there, when we walked in it instantly felt like home. The whole cottage was immaculate and the fresh homebaked lemon drizzle cake on arrival just topped it. Sioned came over once we had unpacked to introduce herself and is such a lovely lady too. The views from there are breath taking and all the info in folder (in the drawer) was perfect, we found the nearest pub 1 mile away (the eagles) by walking and had two trips there during our stay, great reccomendation the food was excellent and the staff so welcomming. They all knew sioned and her family and spoke highly of them as did we. We will be back at these cottages again this year for another amazing experience thank...

Where do I start! We stayed in Ysgubor which was 4 bedrooms with pool table, bbq and hot tub. Great layout with kids taking the upstairs bedrooms and their own lounge area whilst we had downstairs rooms. All rooms en-suite and whole cottage immaculate, comfortable and high standard including welcome goodies! |The view is incredible and such a peaceful setting, it was so nice to relax after days out doing fun activities. We did white water rafting, Caernarfon castle, GYG Karting, Bala lake and much more. We didn't rate Zip World Fforest and thought it overpriced for what you get.|Must also mention Sioned and Gareth the owners who are just the loveliest people and so welcoming, oh plus the 3 gorgeous dogs who pop to say hello every now and then. |Loved our time here and can't wait...
