Carphin House — Hotel in Great Britain

WOW, where do I start? I can't honestly say enough amazing things about Carphin house and it's owners, Ian & Ruth. They have done an incredible job from top to bottom and we had the most beautiful time there. Me and my Wife recently got married at Carphin house and also stayed the weekend with our families. The house and grounds are absolutely stunning and like something from a fairytale. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable and equipped with everything you will need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The grounds offer a lot of space to explore and go for walks, we had a few of my nieces and nephews staying with us and it gave them the opportunity to play and explore outside until their hearts content. Me and my wife had our wedding ceremony outside the house and it couldn’t have been more perfect, the views were amazing and Ian & Ruth went above and beyond to help us organise everything and ensure our special day was one to remember. Carphin house will always be something very special for us both and the rest of our families and I would not only thoroughly recommend it to everyone I know, but also hope that I have the opportunity to visit it...

Stayed at Carphin House with friends for a long weekend. Pictures do not do the house justice. From the initial booking Ian was hugely helpful in answering all our queries and was particularly responsive. Toni provided a warm welcome and ensured we knew our way around the house which was immaculate. The grounds are wonderful for the (almost) full weekend of sunshine and the house itself is beautiful inside with everything you could need from a large dining table, plate warmer and ample space to relax in the living spaces including a lovely courtyard and fire pit. Have just spent a lovely weekend with friends at Carphin House. The house is beautifully decorated, retaining many of its original features, furniture and paintings, and is perfect for entertaining. The kitchen was very well equipped and the central heating and hot water systems were up to the job, an issue in many larger properties. The house is set in lovely grounds and the surrounding countryside provides ample opportunity for outdoor pursuits.The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful, providing a lovely welcome hamper and setting the table for our arrival.
