What an incredible find. The glamping pod we stayed in was absolutely stunning and had everything you could possibly need for a few nights away. It was more spacious than I had imagined which was great, and meant we had space to put up the travel cot for our little boy at night time. We liked the fact that there was a good amount of storage and we were able to put the case and the travel cot away under the bed when not being used. I also liked that there were plenty of plug sockets, even better that they were modern ones with integrated USB ports. The view from the pod was beautiful - I don't think there's anything better than looking over the Yorkshire Dales in Autumn. Even though it was pretty chilly outside whilst we were there, the underfloor heating kept the pod super cosy. It was nice to be located on a working farm and our little boy loved seeing the sheep in the field. The drying room is a super idea and was great for storing the pram when we weren't using it, as well as the large carrier we have for walking with our son. We saw Tom one morning and he was really helpful and friendly (even though he had celebrated his big birthday the night before 🤣!). We were so sad to leave and genuinely had the most wonderful weekend. Hopefully we'll be able to...
Read moreWe visited coxons farm for a two day stay and can not fault one single aspect. From arrival we had friendly hosts who are just great the pods feel like ur miles away from the world but also in an inclusive village vibe. The pods are fitted out with everything you need. It has underfloor heating so super cosy, dining area lounge area super comfortable sofa bed the kitchen has hob, toaster, kettle microwave and all kitchen essentials . I brought toaster bags so could make toasties in the toaster. They even left us some milk in the fridge. The bedding was fantastic quality and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was great all essentials in there shampoo conditioner hand wash toilet rolls etc. Another thing the place was spotless not one spec of anything anywhere just amazing for a clean freak like me. We had the best time and it’s near to all little villages and lots to do nearby can’t wait to visit again next trip is already booked. In summer great outdoor space to bbq and picnic tables there is only two pods so u don’t feel like there is people everywhere a lovely get away if u want some peace. Can’t praise this place enough . Tom and Aimee have it spot on Thanks guys see u soon Danielle Ryan...
Read moreI won an instagram competition for two nights stay at Coxons Farm Glamping Pods, the pod was really really lovely! It had all the amenities you could need plus some lovely extras and it had a really homely and cosy feeling to it! We spent most of our time just in the pod watching films (the tv had Netflix etc all set up on there which was an added bonus) and it was really just so relaxing which is what we needed so it was great winning this competition and being able to do that in such a lovely place so I’m really grateful!
The views outside the pod are just really stunning and it was lovely sitting outside especially with the nice weather, we loved sitting outside with a drink just watching the sheep!
We had an issue where we accidentally broke one of the cupboard doors in the pod (I was absolutely mortified) but Tom was honestly so lovely about it, he was a great host throughout the whole stay and I can’t thank him and his family enough for letting us win the competition to stay at their lovely place!
We can’t wait to return! We will probably book both pods and bring our friends with us as we have told them...
