Craigsanquhar Estate — Hotel in Great Britain

We had our wedding here on 15th October 2021, after moving the date from July and wow, I’m so glad we did. We had the most perfect day, from the weather to the staff taking care of us and all our guests on the day. Everything was flawless! I can’t recommend and thank Fiona for helping us deal with all the uncertainty during the build up to our wedding. ||||From the night before Carlos looked after us and our family both in the hotel and lodges. The lodges are stunning! Plenty room for all of us. The rooms are just as beautiful. We got married outside on the front grass and what a set up. The grounds were just amazing, perfect for wedding pictures. The food was outstanding from our canopies, to our meal to our buffet! All our guests commented on the amazing food and loved their toasties for the buffet! ||||The staff went above and beyond for us. I can’t thank the staff enough, from the waiters and bar staff, we didn’t have much interaction with them till the day and they were all so polite and professional. Nothing was to much trouble for them, a lot of them younger too and what a credit to the craigsanquhar they are. From Looking after our older relatives and some taking the time to sit and have a coffe and a blether with our grandparents who took a wee break from the dancing. Fiona and the team were absolutely amazing! Nothing was a problem or too much for them. The food was brilliant - delicious, hot and served promptly. The bar staff were quick and attentive but never rushed. All the team went the extra mile. Carlos was extremely helpful and very friendly. Bringing coffee down to the lodges on the wedding morning - he was a lifesaver! ||||It's a beautiful venue with gorgeous grounds for photographs. Clearly very well maintained by a skilled gardener/ groundsman. The bedrooms were outstanding. The bridal suite and ensuite were superb. The lodges were incredible too with great outdoor spaces to socialise. ||||Fiona was great and able to pre-empt any problems which might occur due to covid restrictions etc. She was so patient and understanding with us throughout our rearrangements due to covid. She works incredibly hard and always responded to any queries extremely promptly. Our stress levels and anxieties (both normal wedding ones and covid related) were reduced massively by her excellent professionalism. We couldn't have gone through the wedding planning and preparation process without all her amazing help and support. Can’t believe this much time has passed already… we got married here on the 25th of September 2021. We knew right away Craigsanquhar was the wedding venue for us as we drove up the beautiful driveway on the wedding open day back in 2019! The views are stunning and the house itself is breathtaking! So much history packed into a little corner of fife! Our first wedding day was meant to be in June 2020. Fiona has been a saint during the whole process and all the emails and tears in between. You really are a credit to craigsanquhar and I can’t thank you enough for all your help and patience! Even on the wedding day she was phoning the sax player for me to check his location! No other wedding venue would care enough. In fact all the staff we have met during the planning stages and the actual event are fantastic! I can’t go on without mentioning Carlos either. What a cool man! Very attentive and you can tell he loves what he does. Even weeks on our guests still compliment this beautiful venue and staff and how they had a fantastic time! Can’t honestly fault this venue the whole day was seamless and the food and drink was delicious!
