Crossfield Cottages — Hotel in Great Britain

The location of the cottages is absolutely heavenly. The lake, which the cottages overlook is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens with flowers of every colour and wonderful mature trees. It is so peaceful and relaxing. I am not someone who fishes but i could happily have stayed there all day, but there is lots more to do with the lake district on your doorstep and trip to Gretna Green a must. For the non fishermen there are other accommodations overlooking the alpacas in the field and a gorgeous pony in his stable!! The only problem with this place is you wont want...

A hidden gem! Definitely a home from home, if you like the old style country life. Peace and quiet, bar the general sounds of nature and farm animals,which is lovely if you're from a town. The owners are friendly and and helpful. Will definitely be returning even if it's to actually catch a fish from the very lovely and convenient...
