We stayed four nights in the Raven Scar room and very much liked this spacious, clean, simply and tastefully decorated with natural materials (limestone floor, wood ceiling beams and solid wood doors) farmhouse, set in a remote, quiet, yet convenient location. ||||Judith, together with well-natured Lleyn lambs, Kunekune pigs, chickens and cats, made us feel welcomed and ensured sufficient privacy.||||There is a kettle with a good selection of teas, accompanied by nice biscuits, good wardrobe space with a full length mirror and, of course, lovely views. Read moreOur stay in this fabulous farm house was wonderful, an ideal location to meet- we were a group of friends from around the UK. The farm house was great for this large gathering, and sleeps 12 in comfort. We found all rooms ensuite & fitted out to a high spec, lovely comfy beds - all with spectacular views of the stunning countryside. Spotlessly clean and tastfully decorated, again to a high standard.||The large dining room and kitchen (well equipping) also had spectacular views across the valley through floor to ceiling panoramic windows, and a woodburning stove for chilly days, we felt very lucky to stay here.||The surrounding farm fields had free roaming Kunekune pigs, friendly and talkative sorts of pigs, very cute, along with sheep and chickens.||The farm house was great for exploring the beautiful Yorkshire Dales National Park - Ingleton falls, the Ribble viaduct and three peaks- Ingleton, Whernside and Penygent plus white scar caves, fab location. ||Very much hope to stay here again and can highly recommend. Thank you...
