The smell of natural wood, the footsteps of the deer through the mountain grass, the beautiful sounds of birds chirping and water flowing, the stunning highland views and the calming essence of nature... Eagle Brae, what can I say but Absolutely Stunning... Eagle Brae, is without any doubt a special place that we will visit again very regularly. We had our family holiday there, 8 of us ranging from 2 years of age all the way up to 85 years and each and every one of us loved every second of it. The Log Cabins are simply amazing and have everything you need, could easily be a place you would live in permanently. The views are breathtaking, nestled on the highland hills with surrounding mountains, farm lands, rivers, and wildlife, it is a tranquil haven which you really have to see to believe. The staff, wow, best service we have received, including 5 star hotels, they are super friendly, you are made to feel very welcome, like part of a family and the personal service is at its best on display at EB. Not one of us can complain about a thing and cannot recommend it enough, it will be an experience you will never forget. Well done to Mike, Pawana and everyone else at EB, you have successfully created Heaven on Earth :)

Ther is no other possibility then to give 5 stars; what a unique and beautiful location and log cabin this was. Every detail has been taken care of: tea, sugar, salt, olive oil, and plenty of stacks of wood for the fireplace, naturally with more then enough fire starters. Full cupboards with dishes and glasses, extra throws for the bed, outdoor lights, and spotlights for those who want to walk in the dark. Underfloor heating keeps the whole house consistently cozy and warm. The deer graze and laze right outside your door, and the birdhouses at each cabin are very popular among the little birds. The surroundings are beautiful and there's plenty to do: rent bikes, canoeing,, clay pigeon shooting, and much much more. The service is fantastic; thank you Pawana, Mike, Colleen, and the rest of the staff for your hospitality and help. It was like a dream..💖

Eagle Brae is a little slice of heaven in the Scottish Highlands. 40 minutes outside Inverness and amidst some of most beautiful countryside one could ever imagine. This luxury log cabin accommodation checks every box. Quiet, charming, luxurious, and surrounded by nature. Sitting outside our cabin I often found myself having one sided conversations with the deer, they were that close and interested that I just knew they were listening. The owners and staff are nothing short of amazing. They provided dinner and activity suggestions. While staying, Plodda Falls is a mush see, I promise you will love it. Thank you so much for an amazing anniversary stay, we will be back next year ready to explore more. Arthur and Kristen Coley - USA

Exceeded All Expectations — Again!||We first visited Eagle Brae with family when our children were just babies, and now, 10 years later, we’ve returned. It was magical then, and somehow even more special now.||The magnificent cabins radiate rustic grandeur, each one nestled into elevated plots surrounded by nature. The blend of Himalayan charm with Highland spirit is spot on — unique and utterly captivating.||The cabins are incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with every home comfort you could need. Our children especially loved their cozy log cabin bed — perfect for little adventurers.||We made amazing family memories this time around. The kids looked forward to visiting the reception after a day of exploring — for a hot chocolate or a refreshing drink — always met with warm smiles from the friendly team. According to them, it’s the best hot chocolate ever! Another highlight was meeting the lovely resident dog, Shanty, and watching deer appear at sundown. Just magical.||Pawana and Mike’s curries were absolutely delicious — even the kids devoured them!||One particularly special moment brought everything full circle. On our first visit years ago, my husband had brought a tree with the intention of planting it in the Highlands. Life got in the way, and we asked Eagle Brae if they could plant it for us. This time, on a whim, we asked Mike if he remembered. To our amazement, he knew exactly where it had been planted — right next to the lodge we happened to be staying in this time. A beautiful full-circle moment and a memory we’ll treasure forever.||Eagle Brae continues to be a place where unforgettable family...

We recently returned from a week's stay at Eagle Brae using it as a base to explore a little more of the Highlands and do some hikes around the area.||In short, Eagle Brae is magical and we loved our stay here from start to finish.||The location is superb - we used it to explore the spellbinding Glen Affric and Glen Strathfarrar, the area around Abriachan and Loch Ness and to visit Dunrobin Castle which is about 90 minutes drive away.||The cabins are fantastic - what an achievement to construct these in this location and the result is extremely spacious, comfortable accommodation with every thing that you might ever need plus more just in case :-) The layout and positioning of the cabins across the site to maximise the views and the feeling of space really needs to be seen to be appreciated.||The activities on offer are stellar - we tried out a bit of clay-pigeon shooting and took the Beauly river canoeing trip with Tobias from Adventure Highland and I couldn't recommend both of these more highly, we had a superb time.||Last, but not least, the hospitality - there's clearly a superb team running Eagle Brae to make all of this work - everything runs like clockwork, everything we needed was already there, "everything just works" and we really appreciated it.||I'd return in a heartbeat and can't recommend Eagle Brae highly enough - if you're looking for this type of stay in the Highlands then...
