My Family (Husband and 2 young children) and I spent 5 wonderful nights as guests at the East Park B&B located in the blissfully quiet area of Roy Bridge. We were made to feel at home from the moment we pulled into the driveway, Theresa; owner and manager of this family owned and run guest accommodation was ready to welcome us! The service was polite, genuinely friendly, efficient and unfussy; exactly what was needed after 12 hours on the road’ having driven up from London that morning. Our family room was very comfortable, immaculately clean, modern and fully equipped with a lovely en suite bathroom, and plenty of storage space for holiday luggage contents. The breakfast room is a cosey pine furnished room with windows on both sides so plenty of natural sunlight which I loved; breakfast itself was delicious; fresh fruit, warm porridge, hot toast, muffins, cereal and an array of hot beverages. On site are some children’s swings and a trampoline which we were given free use of, and to my children’s pleasant surprise there was a public basketball court located a short walk away from the site. I would like to state that the accommodation overall is super family friendly and Theresa is great with children because I think this will be helpful for families to know. Being a mum, I have found seeking great child-friendly accommodation is a bit hit-and-miss! We found that East Park B&B was a great base for day trips to Glenfinnan, Ben Nevis, Caledonian Canal and it’s a very short walking distance from Roy Bridge train station. In short; for a guaranteed pleasant stay, East Park B&B is the...
