Fern Cottage — Hotel in Great Britain

This is the second time I have stayed at this gem. It never disappoints.|| Caroline is so lovely and really thoughtful. My room was spotless the bed was SO comfortable I slept really well. ||Breakfast is Queen! I had continental but I suspect if I had indulged in a cooked it would have been amazing.||I love Fern Cottage, and Caroline does the smallest touches such an electric blanket on my bed because of course in June it was cold and raining! But I really appreciated it. Also, Caroline gifted me some homemade strawberry jam as she noticed I always requested it. I was honestly really touched by her thoughtfulness.||I really hope to be staying here again and...

We stayed in a room that had a double wardrobe that didn't fit in it. As a consequence the entrance to the bathroom was half covered by this piece of furniture and we had to walk in sideways. The shower itself was weak and it was difficult to shower properly and quickly. The decorating had been done by a non-expert and it showed. The corridor didn't seem very clean and there was a general feeling of mess and chaos. The B&B was also painfully difficult to find.||That's the negative stuff out of the way. Very very rude owner with a terrible unaccommodating attitude. Reserved 2 rooms for 2 couples to attened a nearby wedding and called to ask the owner whether she could accommodate a late check-in and whether there would be a space we could simply get changed following our car journey and ahead of the wedding.
