We absolutely loved our stay in Foresters Lodge. Everything was perfect and it exceeded our expectations. Jane was an amazing host, her kindness and culinary skills were outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable, offering helpful tips about the area and always being available if we needed anything. The house and rooms were very clean and cozy with a view on the wild forest. There are beautiful trails near by and the views are spectacular. The location was perfect and for someone who doesn’t have a car it was very convenient with a bus stop just 5 min from the house and Loch Ness being within 6min walking distance. I could go on and on about how much we loved our stay here. We will definitely be back. Thank you Jane from the bottom of our hearts, you made our trip something we’ll...

Can't recommend this place enough. It's located just off loch Ness. Tucked away right beside a nature trail. There's room for parking on the drive but there's also a larger carpark next door (over the hedge). Both of the hosts were really friendly and informative. They offered us a cooked breakfast for the morning which didn't disappoint! The rooms were spacious and very clean. Normally I'm scared of spiders hiding in the rooms but there wasn't a web in sight! There was a giant garden on show, where guests can sit and enjoy the wildlife. Lots of birds knocking around and also the owners dogs. I think I've fallen in love with the dogs, they were so friendly and cute. Thanks again for having us, really appreciated the wildlife chats and the great...

Nothing to report about Loch Ness itself… except the spectacularly rude hostess! To be fair, the room was comfortable, and the house—very pretty and well located—could have been a perfect stay.

But after we were delayed by a road accident, our host’s top priority wasn’t our well-being, but whether we’d make it in time for dinner. Zero flexibility, no suggestion of a later meal, even though the house is in the middle of nowhere!

We eventually arrived late at night, with a 50/50 chance of choosing the wrong door, given the hostess’s minimalist directions. And the next morning, we were shown the exit at 10:02 on the dot—while the kettle was still steaming.

A...

FANTASTIC - HIGHLY RECOMMEND We have been staying for 2 nights in this Bed and Breakfast. The room was absolutely lovely, very cozy. The host was very nice, welcoming, warm and she had a lot of good recommendations for us to visit. On the first night we asked for a dinner, we took a Balmoral chicken and a cottage pie. Everything was absolutely amazing, Jane is an incredible cook! If you can, we highly recommend to try one of her dishes, two times cheaper than in a real restaurant and twice as good! Of course the breakfasts were delicious as well and very good portions !! You will not be disappointed if you go in this B&B. We cannot wait to come back again! ❤️
