Just come back home, from staying here for a night. After not camped out for over 20 years (and almost 50 years for my sister) this site exceeded our expectations. It took a lot of persuading for my sister to camp in my tent, and after our stay here, she is smitten by the camping bug, and is wanting to do this again soon!! A lovely levelled grassed site, very easily reached from the road along a stone driveway. We were greeted and shown to our pitch-right by the 3 alpacas-what an absolute joy! Shown where the amenities were. Super clean toilets (newly installed in the last 2 years) lovely showers and washing up block with a fridge, freezer and microwave oven provided ..this block is open 6am -10pm. Dogs permitted and they were all on leads..they enjoyed the walks from the site. Being an adult only site, it was tranquil, and most relaxing. There is a pub within easy walking distance. If exploring the area- Cheddar, Bath and Frome are within easy driving distance. Really enjoyed watching the stars, hearing the owls hooting and listening to the fire pits crackling. This site is within Bristol airport flight path, but honestly, it didn't spoil the quietness of this lovely site. Highly recommend! We will be back again

Beautiful, relaxing, quiet haven in never-ending countryside and near to ancient sites and historic towns/cities. The owners could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. They worked so hard to keep the facilities and the camping field absolutely spotless and the showers were piping hot. We stayed in Jessie (glamping pod) which was really cosy, comfortable and well equipped, even had a TV. We didn’t end up switching it on because it was a lot more enjoyable ‘Alpaca-watching’ sitting round the fire pit and watching the night-sky. Left feeling very relaxed and happy to have found this place. Thank you for making us so welcome and being so caring ⭐️

Nice site. Great facilities for a C&MC, CL. A bit pricey at £38 for 3 of us and a dog… Very quiet when we were there…couple of residential vans and one tent so very peaceful on site. Negatives were very noisy road outside on the bank holiday Monday with what sounded like souped up cars or motorcycles roaring around. Did quieten down at around midnight… Also, we thought we could walk to the lake but it would’ve been on the busy road so we didn’t go. There appeared to be a grass verge in the direction of the village pub so that would’ve been doable I think…

Absolutely fabulous campsite. Small, quiet, beautifully laid out, immaculately maintained and set in beautiful surroundings For a small campsite, similar in size to a Caravan Club Certified Location (CL), it had really great amenities. The washing up kitchen area was great plus access to a microwave, fridge and freezer make camping so much more fun. The toilets were always immaculate and the showers were fantastic - no cold showers here! We were due to take our classic Sprite Alpine touring caravan but issues getting a tow bar on a new car meant we weren't able to do that so we were lucky enough to find that "Jessie" the Glamping Pod was free - amazing - like everything else here, well laid out, set in lovely surroundings and immaculately kept. We will definitely be...

Gosswood Park is one of our favourite caravan sites: adults only, really quiet, beautiful location… and alpacas! Plus spotless facilities and, location wise, it’s near Bristol and many great places to go in the South West such as Cheddar, Glastonbury etc. Jayne and the site owners really go above and beyond in providing a friendly, helpful service. Once Jayne helped patch my caravan which I had pranged in a car park on the way, so we remained damp free until I could get it repaired. Another time they rented the pod at a discount to my daughter who had a tent related disaster. We’ve been back several times and are planning to return again and no doubt ‘again again’ in...
