We enjoyed a wonderful stay during March 2022. The accommodation was in excellent order and spotlessly clean. The hosts were super considerate and friendly. The ability to store our bikes in a locked garage was really very helpful. The evenings were cosy and comfortable thanks to the efficient log stove and comfy chairs. The furniture and fittings were generally of a high standard and tasteful. The location was quiet. We would not hesitate to return for another visit. This mews house is delightful for a couple or single person. Well located for accessing the main towns in the Lakes, it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. It is furnished to a high standard with a good kitchenette and bathroom and a very comfortable bed. The village has a good pub with food within walking distance should you not wish to drive. Spent Easter week at this beautifully decorated, one bed property in the prettiest of Cumbrian villages. It was spotlessly clean and had the comfiest of beds. The small living room/kitchen featured a massive fireplace with wood burner: plenty of wood and firelighters were provided, as was the welcoming bottle of creamy local milk.
